1 Paragon Update August 23, 2017 The REALTORS Association of Edmonton and the team from Black Knight continue to work on identified priorities and issues based on your feedback. Below you will find a recap of the changes and enhancements that will be released during a system upgrade, available on Wednesday, August 23, This recap is followed by a more detailed explanation of each change. Any questions you have about an enhancement request you have made can be sent to paragon@ereb.com. Collaboration Center Introducing a new design! The layout of the Collaboration Center has been updated to a new design that better arranges the various items displayed on the Dashboard and makes certain features more visible. The New Welcome Template A new welcome template has been created for the Collaboration Center. This new template contains helpful information and directions on how to use the site. Along with this helpful information, the template is responsive and will adjust to desktop and mobile applications. Message Body Formatting In preparation for future enhancements to the Collaboration Center Notifications in the October 2017 release, enhancements will be made in this release that will affect the overall Preferences for the Message Body functionality. A change has been made to remove the HTML formatting in the Message Body function which is also used in the legacy Notifications, Collaboration Center Notifications and manual Paragon functions. Although the verbiage will still display, the images, links and custom formatting will no longer display for Message Bodies. New Message and Link Added to s Regarding Upcoming Improvements A new message and link will be included in all Collab Center Agent and Consumer Notifications that will link the recipient to a preview of the future enhancements to Collaboration Center Notifications that will be included in the October release. Search Last Search: Timestamp Now Included in Display The Last Search functionality has been updated to include the date and time of when the search was last performed in the list of criteria. This additional display information will allow

2 users to quickly see when a search was run allowing them to more easily determine which search they would like to select. Preferences Wizard - Updated to Include User Preferences Options Several of the options currently available under Preferences > User Preferences have been added to the Preferences Wizard. The Preferences Wizard will now include pages for Assume Identity, Time Zone and Display Property Address on Hyperlink View

3 Details Collaboration Center Introducing the New Display The layout of the Collaboration Center has been updated to a new design that better arranges the various items displayed on the Dashboard and makes certain features more visible. It has also been enhanced to prepare for the future release of a Seller Side on the Collaboration Center. This update allows the site to have a combined look for both the Buyer Side and the Seller Side! To help the consumers to quickly see the changes we have made for the combined view, the Help overlay has been updated to indicate these changes (click the? to view). 4 New Welcome Template A new Welcome template has been created for the Collaboration Center. This new template will include a link to all the consumer to quickly setup their password for their Collaboration Center site, additional information to help introduce them to their new site and an initial count of the number of listings found in the search allowing your prospective buyer to quickly see how listings match their associated search. Along with this helpful information, the template is responsive and will adjust to desktop and mobile applications. This is an example of what the Welcome will look like in your contact s inbox:

5 Included in the changes to support the new Welcome , the rich text editor (contains the formatting options, images, etc.) has been removed to ensure the formatting within the Welcome remains consistent. Users will still be able to customize the text of the Welcome but they will no longer need to worry about formatting the text to create a clean presentation for their contact. A new Preview button has been added to the Welcome form to allow you to quickly see how your will appear for your contact. The new Welcome template also removes the need for a custom signature as the template is designed to use your agent photo, office logo, , phone and even your social networking links when available. Message Body Formatting In preparation for future enhancements to the Collaboration Center Notifications in the October 2017 release, enhancements will be made in this release that will affect the overall Preferences for the Message Body functionality. A change has been made to remove the HTML formatting in the Message Body function which is also used in the legacy Notifications, Collaboration Center Notifications and manual Paragon functions. Although the verbiage will still display, images, links and any custom formatting (including bold, italics and underline etc.) will no longer display for message bodies. Common symbols, such as apostrophes, ampersand, quote signs and trademark symbols may not convert properly. Because of this, all Agents who use the Message Body functionality are encouraged to go into their preferences prior to the August 23 rd release and copy, paste and save them into a Word document. If you see any changes to your body(ies) after this release, feel free to correct those changes in your Message Body preferences or simply copy and paste your saved bodies from your Word document into your message body(ies)

8 Preferences Wizard - Updated to Include User Preferences Options Several of the options currently available under Preferences > User Preferences have been added to the Preferences Wizard. The Preferences Wizard will now include the following options: 1. Assume Identity If the end users is allowed to grant Assume Identity permissions for their account, the Assume Identity setup option will now be available in the Preferences Wizard. 2. Time Zone This allows the user to select their preferred Time Zone. 3. Display Property Address on Hyperlink View This allows users to select if the address should appear as a hyperlink on the desktop view of reports sent from Paragon.
