4 Introduction This document describes the vision, concept and scope of the IDM for e-services to be delivered for Ministry of Economy Project. 1. Identity management The MoE Portal is accessed through user identity management. The identity management is achieved by providing login information of registered user, such as user name and password. The user identity management screen is displayed below: 1.a Screen shot of home page of identity management 1.1. Registration of new user Click New User Registration provided in the home page, during identity management, and web page containing new registration form is opened. Page 4 of 24

6 The user needs to fill the new registration form as per instructions provided below each field, and click Submit button, for user registration. The fields that are mandatory are as follows: First name Middle name Last name Gender Telephone Mobile Fax User name Password Confirm Password Click on provided in-front of fields to get details related to respective field. 1.1.a. Help file To add additional contact details, click on add additional contact details link Page 6 of 24

7 1.1.a. Contact details Enter any one of the fields in the dialog box and click on insert. Note: The mobile number should be unique. An acknowledgment page will be displayed soon after application is submitted. Page 7 of 24

8 1.1.b Registration acknowledgement Note: All the critical lookups have some dependency over these lookup items in the code, example UAE in Countries Lookup. The following is the table showing the relationship of lookup value and lookup ID. Page 8 of 24

9 MoE Sign Up Process Flow User fills up the sign up form. User chooses a user name and a password. User name has to be unique and password has to be strong. User receives a confirmation mail on the he provided in his sign up form. Page 9 of 24

10 a. User account activation message User clicks on the activation link in the confirmation mail to activate the account. Page 10 of 24

11 b. User account activation When the user logins for the first time, there will be two options i.e. whether to register as individual user or as company user. Page 11 of 24

14 Sign up at MoE portal to get a MoE user ID. Register at MoE identity management by filling up a form and attaching required documents MoE should review the application and check the attachment, then approve the registration Individual User will be able to use MoE eservices Required Details and Attachments The following details will be required: MoE username First Name Last Name Gender Telephone Fax Mobile Nationality Passport Copy Passport Number Passport Expiry Date The application form for company registration will open, if the user selects the option company user during his first login. 16 Company Super Users The Company Super User is the owner of the company who can add or remove users to the company. The Company Super User can also apply for any application in the MoE eservices Process Flow Sign up at MoE portal to get a MoE user ID. Register at MoE identity management as an individual first by filling up the individual registration form. Register at MoE identity management by filling up the company registration form and attaching required documents MoE should review the application and check the attachment, then approve the registration Add Company Users from MoE portal users Company Super User and Company Users will be able to use MoE eservices Required Details and Attachments The following details will be required: MoE username Company Super User First Name Company Super User Last Name Company Super User Gender Company Super User Company Super User Telephone Company Super User Fax Company Super User Mobile Company Name in Arabic Company Name in English Company Address in Arabic Company Address in English Page 16 of 24

17 Activity List (Commercial, Industrial, Professional, Craftsmanship, and Others) Other Activity (free text) Legal Status (e.g. LLC) Trade License Trade License Number Trade License Expiry Date Any other document should have an expiry date Adding Company Users Company super user enters the MoE user name of company user. System checks availability of entered user name in IDM. If available, an will be sent to username address requesting to join the company, a. Company registration approval mail else the super user has to enter the MoE username of company user, once again. Once the company registration mail is sent, the MOE staff will approve the company by clicking approve registered company Page 17 of 24

19 Company Notes The Company Super User can have only one company. The Company User can belong to only one company. The Company Super User can remove Company Users from the company profile. The Company Super User can not modify the Company User profile or delete the Company User from the government.ae portal. If the Company User wants to disjoin the company an will be sent to the Company Super User for approval. Company User has to be first registered in the IDM as an individual in order for the Company Super User to be able to add him as a user of his company. Note: What configuration settings are to be made to allow the attachment files (word and excel) to open in the same browser window without any prompt?
