1 How to Use Dreamersi Spam Filters 1. In your preferred browser, navigate to 2. Login to your account by entering your administrator address and password Click Login 3. Once logged in, you will be directed to the Administrator Panel. To manage your spam Filter, there will be two pages important to you. Spam Filter Settings & Spam Filter Activating the Spam Filters 1. Select Spam Filter Settings. Once the page loads, you will see options to enable/disable the Domain Spam Filter, Personal Spam Filter, and Summary. 2. Review each option and turn your spam filter on or off as desired. 3. The Spam Summary, if enabled, will provide you a daily report messages captured by the spam filter. 4. Lastly, you may choose how long you would like captured s to be stored before being deleted. 5. Once you are happy with your settings, click Save
2 Managing your Spam Filter Restrictions Select Spam Filter. Once the page loads you will discover a page containing 4 tabs with possible rule types. Begin by selecting the type of filter you would like to set. Subject This section is where you enter the Subject titles that you would like to block. There are 4 sections which allow the filter to search Subjects a little bit differently. Full Match means that the s subject must be an exact match to what is being filtered: i.e. Collect your free prize! would only block s with the subject Collect your free prize! Partial Match would search for the entered word or phrase in any part of the subject: i.e. Cheap would block s with the subjects Cheap DVDs or Get DVDs Cheap! Front Match will only filter subjects which start with your entered word or phrase. i.e. Cheap would block Cheap DVDs but not Get DVDs Cheap! Tail Match will only filter subjects which end with your entered word or phrase. i.e. Cheap! would block Get DVDs Cheap! But not Cheap DVDs
3 Sender This section is where you enter the Subject titles that you would like to block. There are 4 sections which allow the filter to search Subjects a little bit differently. Full Match means that the s sender address must be an exact match to what is being filtered: i.e. winbig@spammer.com would block s from winbig@spammer.com Partial Match will search for the entered word or phrase in any part of the sender address: i.e. spammer would block all s with spammer in the address whether that are before or after Front Match will only filter a sender address which starts with your entered word or phrase. i.e. winbig would block address starting with winbig, but not ending Tail Match will only filter a sender address which ends with your entered word or phrase. i.e. spammer.com would block s with a sender address ending with spammer.com. Language Filter This filter allows you to create a broader filter than the other tabs as it targets a while language. If you are receiving a lot of spam in a foreign language, you can choose to block those s by choosing to block that language. Please Note: Japanese/Chinese, and Russian/other Cyrillic languages are currently grouped for technical reasons. If you choose to use either of these filters, please be sure you will not affect other addresses you wish to receive messages from, or remember to set exceptions
4 Exceptions List The Exceptions tab allows you to create exceptions to your rules. This allows both Sender Address & Subject based filter exceptions, and all exceptions behave as a Partial Match filter. Examples: If you use a partial sender match to block spam but still want to receive from notspam@junk.com, enter that address here. If you block spam.com but wish to receive s from notspam.com, here. If you blocked all s with Cheap in the subject but you would like to receive s with a subject like We need to find a cheap web hosting company from a trusted sender, you may enter a key phrase from that subject, such as web hosting here. When you have finished adding Keywords to each tab, click Save. This will save the information from each tab, and immediately begin running those filters, if your filter enabled.
5 Mail Recovery Mail Recover acts as a storage area for messages which have been blocked by your spam filters. In some instances, your spam filter may block an that you need to receive. This is where you can review filtered messages & recover them. If you wish, you can also add the sender to your exception list to ensure future messages are accepted. SpamUser@Spammer.com Example: If you are looking for an from bob@bobscompany.com that may have been filtered and you would like to recover it, type bob@bobscompany.com in the search bar and click on Search. Once you have found the you want to recover, put a check in the Recover checkbox and click Submit at the bottom of the page. To add that s sender to the exception list, put a check in the Exception checkbox and click Submit at the bottom of the page. PSP Support is there to help!
