On Wednesday, December 13, 2017, the water district hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Wolfe Road Recycled Water Facilities Project (Project) at the San Lucar Pump Station in Sunnyvale. Thirty people attended the event, including members of the public, the water district, California Water Service representatives, the cities of Sunnyvale and Cupertino, four members of the Sunnyvale City Council including the mayor and vice mayor, representatives from the offices of Congressman Ro Khanna, Assemblymember Marc Berman and Santa Clara County Supervisor Dave Cortese.
