24 Immediate Need / Single Homed Policy for ISPs Used successfully by some Caribbean ISPs if they re unable to get 4 /24s reassigned from their ISP Deploy network using private address space Once you have 4 /24s of private space efficiently used, can qualify for a /22 (NRPM Section 24

25 Qualifying for IPv4 as an End User in the Caribbean Region Multi-homed (NRPM Section ) show connectivity with 2+ ISPs show 64 IP addresses used immediately show 128 IP addresses projected to be used within a year Single-homed (NRPM Section 4.9) show 1,024 IP addresses used immediately show 2,048 IP addresses projected to be used within one year 25

26 Qualifying for IPv6 as an ISP Automatically qualified for IPv6 space once you have IPv4 resources from us Or - If no IPv4, show 50 assignments within 5 years (NRPM section c) - Or - Show intent to immediately multi-home 26

27 Qualifying for IPv6 as an End User Meet any one of the following: Have an IPv4 assignment from ARIN Intend to immediately multi-home Use 2,000 IPv6 addresses within one year Use 200 IPv6 subnets within one year Technical justification showing providerassigned IPv6 isn t suitable 27
