3 Click on the Datadictionary, to create Structure or elements. Structures are actually group of elements. You can set the element properties, using the left hand pane. Blog Page 3

5 Right click on the project to create a task [manual in this case] Blog Page 5

7 Blog Page 7 Click on the Order "sampleorder", and go to Order Template tab. Create the Ordertemplate, using the Data Dictionary Select samplecart from the drop down :

8 Blog Page 8 Expand the Employee tree, and select all sub-elements. [Ctrl+A works] And click OK Select the Manual task firsttask.right click on the pane Task Data of it.

10 Now create WorkGroup Permissions, by selecting "Role" Blog Page 10

11 Select all the check boxes & Save. [it will be based on you project requirement ]. This WorkGroup will be available/viewable from OSM Administrator, after you import the cartridge. Blog Page 11

12 Now Create state policy, by clicking "Order LifeCycle Policy" Blog Page 12

13 Blog Page 13 Select the workgroup that you just created & click Finish. It will by default select the policies, which are required to provision basic flows. You may select more based on your requirements.

14 Blog Page 14 And the selected ones will be having permissions to the one you selected. To give access to workgroups for other roles, click on the respective Policy & Click the button "Grant Permission"

15 Blog Page 15 Assign & click OK. Now create a process by clicking "Process" as below.

18 Blog Page 18 On the right hand side, you will see the platelate, by which you need to create a process. Drag-drop the tasks from right hand side to the process.

19 Blog Page 19 Double-click the task, to check out the default properties, it came with while the task got created. Click on States/Statuses tab. You can add/remove as per your flow requirement.

20 Blog Page 20 Check out the "Compenasation". You need to do any modification here, if you implement Order Amendment feature. Click the "Permissions" tab.

21 Click Select button & select the workgroup/role that you created. Blog Page 21

22 Blog Page 22 Go back to process. Select "Flow" from right hand pane, and connect the Start circle to "firsttask" Similarly you can create more Manual/Automated/Rule/Delay task and put them in flow. To create a rule, double-click on the Order "samplecartorder" Click on the "Rules" tab & click on Add button.

23 Blog Page 23 Give name & click OK Now, keep the "samplerule1" selected on the left pane & Click the Add button in the right Defination tab. Select one of the parameter, and click OK

24 Now give the condition based on you requirement, bu clicking on "Properties" Button. Blog Page 24

25 Blog Page 25 Now go to the process Click rule on the left hand pane, and draw the rule in the process

26 Blog Page 26 Click the diamond shaped rule And from the properties pane below, select the role from the drop down, for the property Condition And give a description to it.

27 Blog Page 27 If you want your process to be of workstream type, then click the circle of "Start", And in the properties column below make it true. [Making a process of workstream type will make your order progress automatically from 1 task to the other ] Click on the permission's tab of the Order, samplecartorder.

28 Blog Page 28 Assign the permission to the Workgroup/Role :"workgroup_for_samplecart" Now click the Details tab of the same Order, samplecartorder.

29 Select the lifecycle policy & default process, by clicking respective "Select" buttons. Blog Page 29

30 Now create a creation task, which is nothing but the contents of the welcome screen, by clicking new. [You can even use an existing task. ] Blog Page 30

31 Open the Creation task, and assign task data to it. Blog Page 31

32 Click the permission tab, and assign it to the workgroup/role. Blog Page 32

33 Now click the project, and from the top tool bar select Project -> Build Project If there are no errors, then you cartridge is ready to get deployed in server. Blog Page 33

34 Blog Page 34 Deploy your sample cartridge in your enviroment. Once deployment is successful, open the OSM Adminstrator, select the cartrdige and click on Workgroup Adminstration tab You will find the workgroup/role that you created will be present. It will show you all the tasks that you developed is present in the workgroup. The users options will be empty. Assign a user to that workgroup by drag dropping it from left & click refresh [unless & until you assign user, you will not find the cartridge in client & will not be able to run any orders.]
