3 Open the Module Double Click on the WATER TAP icon on your desktop. Click on your DEPARTMENT (eg WATER AND WASTE WATER) 3 P a g e

4 Click on LOG IN Type in your password (take note: the password is CAPS censitive) Click on OK Click on SOLAR CALCULATOR 4 P a g e

5 The Module will open Click on LIST SYSTEMS 5 P a g e

6 Add ADD NEW SYSTEM Click on the ADD button 1. Type in the Name 2. Type in the Description 3. Type in the hours of Sunshine per day 4. Click on SAVE 5. Click on BACK button ADD NEW EQUIPMENT Double click on the SYSTEM 1. Click on the ADD button 2. Type in the name of the equipment 3. Type in Notes 4. Number of equipment 5. Select the Volt 6. Type in the Power (W) 6 P a g e

7 7. Hours in use per day (hours that equipment must run on batteries) 8. Click on SAVE Add more equipment. When you are done, click on SAVE. Click on BACK button, to return to Home Page. Take note: The total energy consumption for all the equipment will be calculated at the bottom of the screen. 7 P a g e

8 Edit EDIT A SYSTEM Double click on the SOLAR SYSTEM that you want to edit Edit the System data 1. Click on SAVE 2. Click on BACK button EDIT EQUIPMENT Double click on the SOLAR SYSTEM 1. Double click on the Equipment that you want to edit. Edit the information OR Edit the name and hours sunshine per day 8 P a g e

10 Delete DELETE A SYSTEM Double click on the SOLAR SYSTEM that you want to delete 1. Click on the DELETE button 2. Click on OK DELETE EQUIPMENT Double click on the SOLAR SYSTEM 10 P a g e

12 Reporting TOTAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION Double click on the SOLAR SYSTEM At the bottom of the screen. POWER REQUIREMENTS Double click on the SOLAR SYSTEM 12 P a g e

13 Click on POWER REQUIREMENTS The screen will open. The system will calculate what you require. But if you already have solar panels or batteries, select the items to change the calculation, and calculate how many panels or batteries you will require. Click on the INFORMATION icon Select the item Click on SAVE to do new calculation 13 P a g e
