INTRODUCTION The DOLOMITI 3D SCENERY is a faithful and complete reproduction of over sq/km (3 degrees) of one of the most beautiful places in the Italian Alps... It includes virtually all the main Dolomities ranging from Sesto di Pusteria to Est to Madonna di Campiglio to the West. All the major residential areas, valleys and mountain 3D models have been handled in detail, most of which with a resolution of 0.5 mt/pixel. The scenery includes: 63 3D models of the Dolomites mountains, 4 airports, 40 helipads and more situations for take off from the top of the peaks, 85 mountain villages with typical houses, churches and bell-tower in the area. Also the vegetation and the mountain lakes have been rebuilt in vectorial format for a realistic effect. REQUIRED HARDWARE This scenery was designed for X-Plane 10.52, however it is also fully compatible with version 11, and the new graphic and lighting features will greatly enhance the splendor of the landscape and the overall immersion. For a smooth flight without any stuttering, a minimum of 25 FPS is required, ideally more than 30 FPS. The following hardware is therefore recommended for optimum performance: 1. i5 or i7 CPU. Minimum fourth generation processor. Recommended: Skylake or Kaby Lake with 8 cores. 2. Minimum 8 GB RAM, recommended 16 GB, ideal 32 GB rpm HDD, recommended SSD, ideal SSD M.2 for fast loading of X-Plane and scenery 4. Graphic card with a minimum of 2 GB VRAM, optimum 8 GB without limitation or 27 monitor, ideal 32 For version 10.51, we recommend to set the draw settings for 3D objects to tons or mega tons in order to prevent the simulator from loading 3D mountain models. For version 11, we recommend to set all parameters to the maximum reasonable setting based on the available hardware. As usual, there is no applicable one-to-fit-all rule, as the best suited configuration changes based on the available hardware. A lot of useful information about how to properly setup and configure X-Plane are available on the Internet, especially on sites and forums dedicated to X-Plane. As a rule of thumb, image sharpness strongly depends on the power (and memory) of the video card. Owners of assembled or home-made cockpits will have to adjust their peripherals as required considering that this scenery is mainly intended for VFR flight. Click the following link to start the download procedure: 2. Your Order History page at website will open in a new browser window/tab. Use your FSC account username and password to log in (if requested). 3. Start the Download of the Scenery (15.rar files). 4. You will automatically access the Download page where you can start downloading the scenario files. Start single downloads for all the 15.rar files. When all the 15.rar files will be downloaded, make sure they are all in the same Folder and click with the right mouse button on the first one ( FSC_Dolomiti_3D_Custom_Scenery.part01.rar ) and choose Extract Here option from the contextual menu. Now the extraction will begin. (Operation may take some minutes to be completed). 6. The system will automatically create a Custom Scenery Folder. 7. Because of the complexity of Dolomiti 3D Scenery, it is advisable to rename your current X-Plane Custom Scenery Folder with another name (i.e.: C:\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery_1 ). 8. When you are done, copy the newly created Dolomiti 3D Custom Scenery Folder in your own X-Plane Folder.

Now extract the file named MSxxxxxx.zip ( xxxxxx varies, being each activation file group unique to each user). You ll get THREE.dsf files, which are REQUIRED for the Scenery to work properly. 11. Put the three.dsf files into the folder ( YOURDRIVE:\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\3D_DOLOMITI_3D\Earth nav data\ \ ) Warning: If X-Plane does not find these files in the correct directory, the scenery will not work properly. 6 Manuale di Installazione Scenario FSC Dolomiti 3D RECOMMENDED X-PLAN SETTINGS Screenshots below are the suggested settings for X-Plane in order to fully exploit the FSC Dolomiti 3D Scenery features. This configuration was tested with the following Hardware (CPU i7 7700K - 32GB RAM - SV Nvidia GB VRAM), achieving an average of 25fps over Bolzano-Trento and over 35fps in other areas, granting a smooth flight and scenery flow.
