Fixed the display of maintenance items with IM07 coded as 7-Superseded in Report M. 5. Fixed an issue on Form F that stopped users from changing Fracture Critical Detail information. 6. Added an Uninstall feature within the iforms system. Release BMS2 Version 5.16 (AMS Release 54) and iforms Version Fixed the Underwater M1 report available via BMS2 to display results for multiple owners. 2. Changed the default sort of Inspection Documents on the EDMS documents screen to inspection date, newest to oldest. 3. Changed the MPMS IQ button to PennDOT One Map on the structure home page. 4. Changed the Inspection Acceptance comment box to update the number of characters with each keystroke. 5. Fixed the display of Field 6B48 on iforms Report A. 6. Fixed the display of Field IR01a checkbox in iforms Form K and on the Load Ratings screen in BMS2. 7. Fixed the page numbering on the bottom of the reports in iforms. 8. Fixed the printing bug with iforms Report C that caused the report to appear blank. 9. Fixed the display of Field IM03 on iforms Report M. 10. Removed the printing of duplicate information of iforms Report P. 11. Limited the entry of Fields IN17 and IN18 in iforms to match BMS Changed iforms software to include automatic updates without requiring a new installation. 13. Updated list of fields within iforms that should carry forward when a new inspection is started. 14. Fixed the bug on iforms Form E where defects and protective systems remained after an element was deleted.

3 15. Fix the headers on iforms Report s E, G and M. Release BMS2 Version 5.15 (AMS Release 52) 1. Added the ability to apply protective systems to elements on a Z-type (inventory) inspection. 2. Added Field IM05b Date Maintenance Priority Changed to the Proposed Maintenance screen. Release BMS2 Version 5.14 (AMS Release 51) and iforms Version Created the schema for the National Tunnel Inventory (NTI) Submission. 2. Revised the Structural Deficient calculation (Field 4A12) to match revisions by FHWA. 3. Updated the conversion rules for 6A38 to 5B01 for the National Bridge Inventory (NBI) submission. 4. Repaired the issue on the Underwater Screen that would not save data on the screen 5. Repaired an issue on the Ratings and Schedules screen that did not save data when a bridge was moved to accepted status. 6. Created the Field 6B49 Inaccessible Portion of Structure and associated note field in both BMS2 and iforms. This field is reserved for future use. 7. Added an IC01 comment type for Damage Inspections and added the field to Form P. 8. Performed a system wide update of Item IN14 based on IN Automated Field 4A08 in iforms and BMS2 (will begin in BMS2 on February 1 st, 2018). 10. Replaced the mechanism that computes the SCBI calculator in BMS2 to match iforms. 11. Updated the SCBI calculation to accurately reflect the USGS manual. 12. Made the IN fields required in both iforms and BMS Added the display of VD19 to Form H. 14. Repaired the issue in iforms that did not clear out inspection condition ratings and codings when a new QA inspection was started. 15. Fixed the various printing issues within iforms reports. 16. Downloading of inspection records to iforms is now unavailable. All uploads from must be completed by December 29 th, at 12:00PM. All iforms work after December 29 th must be completed in iforms Added notifications for deferred structural priority 0 s and 1 s as well as bridges in critical condition. Release BMS2 Version 5.13 (AMS Release 50) 1. Added BMS ID to the notification detail pop-up in BMS2. 2. Bug requiring a user to delete the DOT AAR number to adjust the Item FR02 On/Under coding was fixed. 3. The create structure applet was enhanced to allow double ampersands. 4. The bug prohibiting the deletion of data in Item SS08 was fixed. 5. The bug not allowing data on the underwater screen to be saved in BMS2 was fixed. 6. The SPN bug allowing a single application to be approved multiple times if opened in multiple tabs has been fixed.

4 Release BMS2 Version 5.12 (Data Integrity Release 2) and iforms Version Required validation failures to be addressed before an inspection can be accepted in BMS2 (functionality previously existed in iforms) 2. Required validation errors to be addressed or explained before an inspection can be submitted from iforms or accepted in BMS2 3. Added a third summary tab in the inspection submission process to review inspection scheduling information in iforms. 4. Added the changes to vertical clearance fields (6C35 through 6C38) from BMS2 Release Version 5.11 to iforms. 5. Revised the label for Item IM06 to Initial Recommended Date in iforms. 6. Added the display of Item IR11a Safe Load Capacity to Form K and Report K in iforms. 7. Made Item 4B03 Bridge Posting read only in iforms to match the BMS2 functionality. 8. Made Item 5C03 On/Under editable in BMS The following known issues have been found during implementation and are scheduled to be addressed in the December release of BMS2 and iforms: a. BMS2 i. On the Features screen, on a railroad record, users cannot change Item 5C03 On/Under if there is a value in Item FR02 AAR Number. To change the Item 5C03 value, delete the AAR number and click save with the updated on/under. b. iforms i. On sign and wall inspections, when the user create a new inspection, the previous condition ratings do not copy forward. ii. On wall inspections, users cannot enter wall defects on the Form W screen. iii. On Report M, completed maintenance items are not showing. They do appear in Form M. Release BMS2 Version When adding features to a Bridge, adjusted the sort of Field 5C03 to ascending. 2. Relabeled Item 6C24 Vertical Clearance Sign to Item 6C35 Vertical Clearance Sign (Left). 3. Added Items 6C36 Vertical Clearance Sign (Right), 6C37 Vertical Clearance Posting (Left) and 6C38 Vertical Clearance Posting (Right). 4. Revised the automation of Item 5C24 based on Items 6C22 and 6C23 on the feature level 5. Revised the automation of Item 5C25 based on Items 6C18 and 6C19 on the feature level 6. Added the display of Item VS34 to the right of VS11 on the Inventory Signs and Lights screen. 7. Converted VW18 from a text input to a drop down selection.

Revised the BMS2006 BMS2Web Inspection Appraisal History report in BMS2 to improve pagination issues and add additional information to the report. 3. Added the display of Items ID04 through ID07 on the signing details screen for quick reference. 4. Added the display of Items 5B08 on the Structure Home page (field was previously not displayed in BMS2). 5. Added the ability to sort the validations shown on the validation screen by the column headers. 6. Added the display of the validation severity to the validation screen. 7. Improved the display and rounding of the latitude and longitude values in BMS2. 8. Add symbols and counts to the right of the validation screen link to indicate the number of validations per bridge per validation type. 9. Added additional items to the Key Changes Since Last Inspection Display on the Ratings and Schedule screen. Release BMS2 Version 5.9 (Data Integrity Release 1.1) 1. Bridge validations are now being run on the last overall inspection, regardless of inspection status (Item 1A09). Previously, they ran on the last accepted inspection. Release BMS2 Version 5.9 (Data Integrity Release 1.0) 1. Updated latitude and longitude data for structures using GIS information. These fields, 5A10 and 5A11, are editable and will update when changes to the Structure home page are saved. 2. Added an indicator (yellow triangle with white exclamation point) when the straight-line distance between the BMS2 and GIS coordinates is greater than Created a link between BMS2 and Grade Crossing EDMS to improve the data in BMS2 related to railroad data. 4. Created fields FR17 Railroad Division, FR18 Railroad Sub-Division, FR19 Railroad Branch and FR20 Railroad Owner on the railroad features screen. 5. Revised the coding behind validations in BMS2 to expand the capabilities of the system. In addition to migrating the original validations, over 125 new validations have been added. Also added a validation report, similar to other reports available in BMS2. Release BMS Version Created the key field comparison on the Ratings and Schedules screen to compare the current inspection with the last accepted inspection. 2. Improved the logic between BMS2 and iforms for fields IR01a Load Rating Review Recommended and IR01b Reviewer Action. 3. Added tables and fields to the DB2 query environment, including the new database locations for Items IS10 Sign Condition Rating and IW10 Wall Condition Rating created in Release 5.7.

Created separate fields in the BMS2 database for 4A09, IS10 and IW10 as they were previously all stored in the same field. 6. Fixed the bug in iforms that caused iforms to crash when adding National Bridge Elements to a structure with no elements in iforms. 7. Revised the field names displayed in iforms Form O to reflect the actual field name the data is stored in the database. 8. Improved the logic between BMS2 and iforms for fields IR01a Load Rating Review Recommended and IR01b Reviewer Action. 9. Added a units description, (in thousands), to the right of improvement costs (3B04, 3B05, & 3B06) on the Proposed Maintenance Screen. 10. Revised reports in BMS2 to ensure they could be run for any BRKEY in the system. 11. Added a message within iforms to alert users that their version of iforms is out of date and a new version should be installed as well as a link to the installation file. 12. Improved the functionality of Item VP10 Permanently Closed Structure. 13. Improved the functionality of Items VP02 Posting Status and VP06 Posting Reason and how the two fields interact if VP02 is coded P Posted for Load. 14. Improved the automation of Item 4A09 based on Item 5A17 Service Type On and proposed work Items 3B01 and 3B Within the Structure Plan Number system, corrected a bug in assigning numbers to L-# and S-#. Release BMS2 Version Item 4B01 Design Load has been made a required field. 2. Item 5B19 Deck Area calculation was revised to calculate a deck area for demolished structures. 3. The automation of Item 5C23 Traffic Direction for structures that integrate with RMS now evaluates the roadway width based on 5B07 Deck Width, Out to Out or 5C26 Approach Roadway Width. 4. Items 5E10 ACM Status and 5E14 ACM Quantity have been changed from a freeform text entry field to a dropdown menu. 5. The default value for Item 6C20 Minimum Vertical (Left) and 6C21 Minimum Vertical (Right) has been changed to from Items IR20 IR Load Factor and IR21 OR Load Factor have been renamed IR Rating Factor and OR Rating Factor, respectively. 7. Added Items VD31 Bridge Seat Cleaning, VD32 Cleaning Notes, VD33 Scuppers w/ Downspouts and VD34 Scuppers w/o Downspouts to query environments. 8. Relabeled Item VS31 Notes (Signs) and VW32 Notes (Walls) to Item 2A01 Structure Notes. 9. Removed Item 6A08 Department Structure Length from BMS2.

Item 4A08 Scour Critical Bridge Indicator has been made display only on the Ratings and Schedules screen and must be updated on the Underwater screen. 3. Item IF05 Fatigue Stress Category was updated to fix a bug that prevented the saving of coding options B and E. 4. The Proposed Maintenance screen display was updated when the show completed work candidates box is checked. 5. Item IM07 Status was updated to move a maintenance item from proposed to completed when coding option 7 Superceded is coded. 6. Item SP06 Span Description has been correctly labeled in BMS2. 7. Removed Items A.5 Annual Average Daily Truck Traffic, 5C07 Critical Facility, 5E05 Fracture Critical Details, 6C13 CCVNET, and VI19 Issuing Authority as they are either not used or were duplicate fields. Release BMS2 Version Item 4A09 Structural Evaluation was updated to match the coding for FHWA. 2. Items 5B07 Deck Width, Out to Out and 5C27 Bridge Roadway Width were relabeled in BMS2 to better differentiate between one another. 3. Item 5B19 Deck Area is now set to 0 for non-bridge structures. 4. Item 5B19 Deck Area now uses Item 5C26 Approach Roadway Width for the area calculation when 5B07 Deck Width, Out to Out is equal to Items 5C21 - Toll Facility, 5C23 - Traffic Direction, 5C28 - Defense Highway, 5C19 - National Base Highway Network, 5C33 - Truck Network, and 6A19 - Business Plan Network have been automated for features that integrate with RMS. 6. Created Item 5C35 RMS Roadway BPN to indicate if a feature integrates with RMS. 7. Item FR04 Railroad Milepost has been updated to allow text characters in addition to numeric values. 8. The Monthly Compliance (M1) Report has been updated, specifically related to Other Special (Interim) Inspections. 9. Improved the linking screen in EDMS Documents.

8 Release BMS2 Version Created Items VD31 - Bridge Seat Cleaning, VD32 - Bridge Seat Cleaning Note, VD33 - Scuppers with Downspouts, VD34 - Scuppers without Downspouts in both iforms (Form B) and BMS2 (Inventory Design screen). 2. Revised Wall Inspection types and coding procedures to match the functionality of sign structures. 3. In Items 6A45 - Member Type, 6A46 - Fatigue Susceptibility, 6A47 Material, 6A48 - Average Annual Daily Traffic, 6A49 - Total Critical Ranking Factor, the word Rating was replaced with the word Ranking in the descriptions of the items. 4. The functionality of Item 2A02 Inspection Notes was improved to stop user entry at the maximum character limit rather than truncate after saving. 5. Form T for tunnels was created as well as specific comment types for tunnel element types.
