1 CareLogic One Click Menu The Goal and objective The goal: is to combine all menus into a highly efficient menu system where everything in Carelogic is one click away. The objective of the Multi Browser project is to allow CareLogic to work on multiple browsers across all common tablet and desktop environments including Mac, Windows, Android, and ios. 1

2 The enhancement of the menu: 1. Adopt an industry-standard menu with an intuitive User Interface, and move towards a single integrated menu system 2. Attempt to make every screen in Carelogic 1 click away, including shortcuts 3. Allow each user to truly create their own mini menu (favorites) 4. Increase the number of favorites a user can have 2

3 In the example below, the user hovered over Point of Entry > POE > POE Search. Some top level menus are clickable and will direct users to a page. Favorites: No action Schedule: Opens the staff member s schedule for the day Front Desk: Opens the Front Desk schedule Point of Entry: Opens the Client Search screen Client: Opens the staff member s Caseload Billing/AR: No action 3

4 The shortcuts bar has been replaced by a Favorites menu and will always be the first menu option on the menu bar Adding items to the Favorite Menu To add items in the Favorites menu, click an outline star to change it to a solid black star. The black star indicates the menu item is included in Favorites. POE Search is included in the user s Favorites. 4

5 Removing items from the Favorite Menu To remove items in the Favorites menu, click a black star to change it to an outline star. The outline star indicates the menu item is not a favorite. POE Reports and POE Wizard are not Favorites. Removing Favorites Another way to remove items from the Favorites menu is to click the Trash Can on any Favorites item. Clicking the Trash Can for POE Search will remove it from Favorites. Clicking the Trash Can will also change the star from black to an outline in the main menu. 5

6 Moving items around To move items in the Favorites menu, drag and drop the Favorites item to change the Favorites order. The 4 arrow cursor indicates you can move the Favorites item. Any Questions? 6

7 New Client Menu The Client menu operates in two modes: 1. Not in a Consumer s ECR 2. In a Consumer s ECR Client Menu- If a user clicks on the Client menu, their Caseload opens. New Client Menu If users are not in a consumer s ECR, they will only see a limited selection of Client menu sections 7

8 New Client Menu continued If users are in a consumer s ECR, there will be many more Client menu sections (including the menu option in the previous screenshot) How to go to a client s ECR Using the client search field on the menu bar Choose ECR for the consumer Hover over Client Menu, now it shows the additional choices 8

9 ANY QUESTIONS? The New Look Most of the Look and Feel changes are cosmetic, not functional. Users may notice slight differences in color shades, fonts used, and small movements in layout. 9

10 A few items to note: The Organization is now listed in white text, but clicking the Organization name still allows users to change organizations The Client Search box looks different, but the functionality has not changed. ICONS My Alerts: Opens the user s My Alerts Home: Opens the user s default Dashboards Users: Lets users set personal User Configurations Lock: Lets users change Password and Signature Help: Opens CareLogic Online Help Logout: Log out of CareLogic 10

11 A few other items to note There is no more Trash Can to remove Shortcuts. (Shortcuts are replaced by Favorites.) The main action buttons in the upper right corner have a new look, but the functionality remains the same. Please note, CareLogic users must continue to use Internet Explorer on Windows. Only Internet Explorer version 11 is compatible with the new CareLogic User Interface. 11

13 Quick Tips 1. Remember to not click on Client top menu otherwise it will take you out of the client s ECR and back to your caseload 2. To create a favorite, click on an outline star 3. To remove a favorite click on the trash can in the favorite menu or click on the black star you wish to remove from your favorite menu 4. Be sure to have Internet Explorer 11 as your browser version 5. The new show menu is now available in the cert system so Practice! Practice! Practice! Any Questions? 13
