1 Public Printing Information and Troubleshooting USB Devices Duplexing Troubleshooting

2 USB Devices Drives must be 4 GB or smaller. Scanning to USB creates a.pdf or.tiff on the USB drive. Printing from USB only works for.pdf,.jpg,.bmp, &.TIFF files.

3 How to Scan to USB 1. Tap the arrow in the upper right hand corner of screen, above the logoff button. 2. Tap the Memory Media button on the middle of the right side of the new screen.

4 How to Scan to USB 3. Select the flash drive and tap open. This view will only show you folders and file types the machine is capable of printing.

5 How to Scan to USB 4. Tap scan, to open the scan utility. 5. Select your file format, and name the file.

6 How to Scan to USB 6. Press the green start button on the keypad to begin. 7. When the page is done change the source and press start again, or tap done to finalize the job.

7 8. When finished with scan to USB functionality, tap the remove USB button in the lower left corner of the screen. How to Scan to USB Always perform this step, or risk damage to the data on the USB drive.

11 Duplexing Duplexing works when printing from computers. Duplexing does not work when copying. Duplexing will be fixed in the next software release, due out in November.

16 How to Power Cycle 1. Press and hold the gray power button for 4 seconds. 2. On the touch panel press start.

17 How to Power Cycle 3. Touch restart so the machine will turn back on its own. 4. Confirm by touching yes. The machine will reboot and be ready to use in about 4 to 5 minutes.
