I am leading a session entitled Podcast Challenge Producing a Podcast in 1 hour With the assistance of the audience This is a hands on training session where all of the session attendees are going to assist me in producing this episode. The interview question is: If you had to pick one takeaway from the conference so far, something that you have learned and that you are going to be able to put to use right away, what would it be? I am going to have those that are to be interviewed come to the front of the room, the mic stationary and equidistant from both of us

28 How it Works / Let s Do It - Compressing Making your file smaller Open your final WAV mix in Audio Studio Save as an MP3 / 96 kbps / 44,100 Hz

29 How it Works / Let s Do It - Tagging Identify your podcast where ever it s listened to on the web Open itunes Open your podcast directory Drag you podcast in to the itunes library Right click the podcast file / Get Info / Info Name / Artist / Album This method complements of Jason VanOrden /

30 How it Works / Let s Do It - Uploading Move your finished file on the web Use Filezilla, a free FTP package Drag and drop your podcast from the directory on your computer to a location on the web. Copy the URL of the file location and paste in a browser to test the efficacy of the link.
