12 MA Message Announcer for Programmable Message Play MA Message Announcer for Programmable Message Play BACKGROUND MUSIC /MESSAGES Our MA Message Announcer is designed to play promotional Messages with an existing Music source such as a Radio, MP3 player, Internet Streaming Player, Satellite Streaming player etc. MA provides a solution for sites that play Music and require customised promotional Messages to be interjected with the Music at regular intervals. MA achieves this by ramping the Music down, playing the Message and then ramping the Music back up again after the Message has finished playing. A two line LCD display on the MA is designed to show current Date and Time as well as the remaining time until the next Message plays. This period is displayed in real time as the player counts down. KEY FEATURES OF MA Messages play at user programmed frequency ( minutes or seconds) Message Announcer mixes the Audio Input with all Messages Can play Messages at Higher volume than Music. Message Volume is controlled by a separate Message Volume Pot Can leave 0-50% of the Music present while the Message is playing, which is controlled by separate volume Pot Provides 6 levels for Ramping Music down before Message play and Ramping Music up after Message play Requires Line Level Music input Provides Line Level output suitable for the existing amplifiers Optional 10W/100V output for use without an amplifier. This program will allow users to : Copy Files to an SD Card or USB Stick Set the Time Interval at which Messages should play The Time Interval can be seconds or minutes Set the Music Fade Out and Fade In times applicable before and after Message Play 6 Fade times are available : BACKGROUND MUSIC /MESSAGES - No Fade - 1 second Fade - 2 second Fade - 3 second Fade - 4 second Fade - 5 second Fade Set Days and Times during which each Message should play. Set Start Dates and Stop Dates during which each Message should play. Set MA units Date and Time. Allow for Encryption of an MP3 Message File or a complete Folder of MP3 Messages. 14 Encryption Facility ENCRYPTION FACILITY Our unique Encryption facility is designed to protect your valuable music and message productions from unauthorised use, editing or copying. Encryption is a NO CHARGE option on all Natcomm Digital Audio devices. Using Encryption is quick and easy. All you need to do is encrypt your MP3 files using our supplied Encryption program, which takes just a few seconds. You can Encrypt a single file, or a complete folder of files with a single action. Once your file is encrypted, it cannot be opened, altered or used in any device other than a Natcomm unit which is configured for Encryption. Similarly, our Encryption devices cannot play standard MP3 files or any file other than those encrypted with our program. The same Encryption program is used for ALL of our products ensuring standardisation of the process. 14 Option : The Message Encryption Facility option is available on all Natcomm Digital Audio products 14 NATCOMM...YOUR ON HOLD SOLUTIONS PARTNER
15 Time Programmable Message Play TIME PROGRAMMABLE MESSAGE PLAY FACILITY Our unique Time Programmable Message play facility is designed to automatically change the Message or Music that our device is set to play, at any future time or date. This option consists of a battery backed internal real time clock circuit, which can be supplied with ANY Natcomm Digital Audio device. The large capacity of the media supplied with our devices allows for multiple files to be loaded onto a single SD card or USB Stick. Up to 250 individual Messages and 16 Music Folders can then be programmed with specific time and date play information, using our supplied Dealer Control program. This facility can also be used to START play and STOP play at specified times or dates, or simply STOP play altogether at the expiry of a contract period. Applications include : Scheduling different messages to play within specified times/dates Having different messages or music in the morning, afternoon and evening Having different messages or music for the weekends Having different messages or music for specific days of the week Automatic time programmed change to and from seasonal message and music content Step 1 Install : Open your Dealer Control Program This program is suppled at No Charge to all Natcomm Dealers. It is self loading and will install direct onto your PC Desktop ready for use. Step 2 Enter : Set Play Dates & Times From the Main Menu, Enter Set Play Date & Times. All Messages loaded onto your card will be displayed in loaded order, or numbered order on the left hand side of the programming screen. Step 3 : Program first Message or Music Folder Click on the First Message or Music folder to Highlight it. a) Enter the Start and End Dates for the period you wish it to play, otherwise leave them set to Every. b) Enter the Start and End Times that apply. If there are no specific time periods, leave them set to All. c) To play on particular days of the week, de-select Every Day and then select the required days. Step 4 : Program remaining Messages or Music Folder Repeat this same sequence for All Loaded Messages or Music folders. Note - If any Messages or Music folders are to play at all times and days you can leave settings UNCHANGED, as this is the default setting for each Message. Step 5 : Save Timetable to SD Card When programming is complete, Click on the Save Icon. A file containing this complete timetable is saved to your SD Card. This Music has been Professionally prepared and carefully sorted into separate Music Genres (see below), comprising nearly 100 separate Music folders ready for use in our BMP and BMS players. Each folder contains approximately 150 songs, Encrypted as per Regulatory Requirements, ready to copy to an SD-HC card. All Copyright Owner and Reproduction Royalties are covered in our low Monthly Rental Fee. The only additional Royalty Fees that are those payable by the end user for the right to Play this Commercial Music in their businesses.
