3 1.0. Intrductin The ACR1252U-A1 is a PC-linked NFC Reader that is NFC Frum certified. The ACR1252U-A1 runs n the MHz cntactless technlgy and supprts ISO Type A and B cards, MIFARE, FeliCa and ISO cmpliant NFC tags and ther NFC devices. It has a SAM (Secure Access Mdule) which can be used fr key diversificatin and mutual authenticatin prviding high level security in cntactless transactins. It is PC/SC-cmpliant allwing interperability, and is als NFC library-cmpliant making it suitable fr varius NFC applicatins including Bluetth and Wi-Fi NFC pairing/lg-in. Pstdeplyment firmware upgrade is als supprted, eliminating the need fr additinal hardware mdificatin. ACR1252U-A1 is capable f the three mdes f NFC, namely, Card Reader/Writer, Card Emulatin and Peer-t-Peer Cmmunicatin. These NFC features make the ACR1252U-A1 ideal fr NFC applicatins like Smart Psters fr advertising and marketing purpses with mst NFC-enabled mbile phnes and SIM cards in the market.
