3 1.0. Intrductin ACR1281S-C1 DualBst II is a dual interface reader that can access any cntact and cntactless smart cards fllwing the ISO 7816 and ISO standards. ACR1281S-C1 enables ne t cnventinally integrate separate and independent applicatins fr cntact and cntactless technlgies int ne device and ne card. The DualBst II makes use f serial RS-232 prtcl t cmmunicate with the hst cmputer. It als makes use f highspeed cmmunicatin fr cntactless cards at a maximum f 848 Kbps, which makes it suitable fr highly demanding applicatins. It als prvides intelligent supprt fr hybrid and cmbi cards, such that it detects a cntactless card even if it is inserted in the cntact card slt. Lastly, it has a built-in ISO 7816 cmpliant Class A SAM (Secure Access Mdule) slt which can be used tgether with a SAM card fr added security in bth cntact and cntactless applicatins.
