2 Introduction This document contains the necessary information to connect to the edemo infrastructure supporting the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniAccess Stellar Enterprise demonstration. This demo is open to any System Engineer that requests its access. All information is subject to change. Please check with the content owner (contact details at end of this document) if in doubt with latest version for example. If this is your first OmniAccess Stellar Enterprise remote demonstration (edemo), it is strongly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the entire demo process. This means connecting to the demo platform and completing the demo script in its entirety before executing a customer facing demonstration. Please feel free to send any improvement to the central team (contact details at end of this document).

3 How to obtain access to the Demo? Access is via the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection application that will allow to have access to a rebound server which Windows desktop is configured with a web browser allowing direct access to the OmniVista 2500 NMS (Network Management System) which handles the centralized management function of a Wi-Fi OmniAccess Stellar network in Enterprise mode. That rebound server is also equipped with a wireless Network Interface Card (NIC) that will allow to connect to the Wi-Fi networks that will be created during the demonstration. The process for access is as follows: 1. When on the edemo OmniVista Stellar Enteprise dedicated web page ( - click on the Register and book a demo link - fill in the required fields (marked with an *) - the calendar can help selecting the wished demo timeslot - a 5 working days delay shall be considered - and ALE contact information may be the same if the demo is requested by an ALE employee, or different if the demo is requested by a non ALE employee. - The Zone in which the demo will be run (EMEA, APAC, NAR, CALA) is needed to allocate the relevant support for the demonstration - Click on the Submit button

4 2. When the demonstration request is approved, you receive a mail confirming the demonstration availability for the wished timeslot. The mail also includes a Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Stellar Enterprise.rdp file and an associated login/password (available for the requested timeslot only) that will allow authenticate on the RDP gateway: 3. Execute the attached Stellar Enterprise.rdp file and click on Connect to confirm you want to connect: 4. When prompted, enter your RDP login (first login, include the ebs domain) and associated password (included in received ) and click OK to authenticate to the Remote Desktop Gateway Server:

When prompted again, authenticate again with the second login (include the ebs domain) and associated password and click OK to connect to the rebound server: You should now be connected to the rebound server and see its Microsoft desktop with a shortcut that points directly to the OV2500 Graphical User Interface:

6 6. Double-click on the OV2500 shortcut (ignore the security certificate warning by clicking on Continue to this webpage ); you have now access to the OV2500 GUI:
