1 ECC Admins: Peak has configured your access to the ECC tool. This document details the steps necessary to set up access for the individuals at your company who will use the ECC tool. 1. Your ECC Admin access has recently been configured, please verify that the User Name you provided on the Production Provisioning form is correct. The production ECC URL is provided below and can be saved as a desktop shortcut or web browser favorite ( ECC requires the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer for proper operation. 2. Additionally, you will receive an from OATI with your temporary password. The is sent from webintegrity@oati.net with subject webintegrity PROD Your logon credentials have been created or reset and contains a temporary password within it:

2 3. Enter your user name in the User Name field. 4. Enter your temporary password in the Password field. Click the Login button.

3 5. The ECC will open a password change form, which will prompt you to enter the temporary password and identify a new password. The form lists all password rules enforced by OATI: 6. After changing your password, the ECC will log you in and default to the Element Congestion display. There is a menu at the top of the display with various drop downs (Situational Awareness is the first choice). Click on the Admin menu item on the right side of the display: 7. Click on the User Summary in the drop-down menu

4 8. Click on the Create User button at the bottom of the User Summary display. 9. Fill in the relevant information for the user you are creating (User Name, Company Name, and Phone. Additionally, the Status field needs to be set to Enabled.

5 10. Select your Available Roles and use the arrow buttons to add them in the Selected Roles area (the double arrows move all available options between Available and Selected). a. Your Available Roles will be based on the configuration of your company. b. The one unique role is Security Manager; this role grants the user access to act as an additional Admin for your company in order to create users, reset passwords, or enable users who have been locked out from too many failed login attempts. 11. After choosing your roles, the Available Entities section will populate with the entities. This is based on the configuration of your company. Users will be restricted to only the entities chosen. Use the arrow buttons to add your choices to the Selected Entities section (the double arrows move all available options between Available and Selected). 12. Credential Type needs to be set based on how your company authenticates with OATI systems: a. Most companies will use the UN/PW/S-CERT option where OATI has issued digital certificates that are used for two factor authentication. b. Select companies may have hardware tokens, similar to USB thumb drives, where the token contains the OATI authentication information. Those users should choose the HW Cert option.

6 13. Cert. Identifier lists all of the available certificate options for your company by the certificate name from the OATI webcares repository. Choose the appropriate certificate for the user you are configuring. a. If you cannot find a certificate for your company, please Peak at ECC@peakrc.com to report a missing certificate. 14. An alternate method to configure your user is to click on the drop-down arrow and choose Enter Certificate Information as Text. You will then be able to enter the relevant certificate information manually; however, this should be a rarely used option and would require obtaining certificate information from your company s OATI Security Officer.
