2 Guidelines The purpose of the Display Tradeup program is to assist you in upgrading your customers to the latest Precision Farming technology. This will enable you to provide your customers with faster service and quicker turnaround times. Please read the following information carefully as all the procedures have to be accurately followed for you to qualify for this program. Program Rules The program is valid until 24 th June To order your replacement display and unlocks, please do the following: 1. Verify that product to trade is on the Trade In Value Sheet (see pages 7 to 10) and verify the number of unlocks, if any, that are needed for given product. 2. Select and order the SP part number (see page 3) that includes the appropriate number of unlocks you found in the Trade In Value Sheet (pages 7 to 10). 3. Complete the FM1000 and FM750 Display TradeUp Form (see page 4). The completed form must include the following information: The sales order number or purchase order number and the part number for the replacement display & passcode bundle. The serial number of the existing equipment. The description of the existing equipment (display, GPS, and Guidance system). Note: Partially filled out forms will be rejected; you will be required to resubmit the forms. Please review your form to avoid unnecessary delays. 4. the completed form to: tradeupprograms@cnh.com. They have to be received and approved by CNH before replacement orders are released or shipped. 5. Destroy the trade product as explained in the Proof of Destruction sheet (see page 5) (holes drilled and connector ends ground down as shown). 6. Photograph the destroyed product showing adequate destruction and serial numbers (see page 6) and send it by to tradeupprograms@cnh.com Note: Because this program highly depends on the clarity and authenticity of photos received to prove the destruction process, CNH may use photo verification technology to validate photos.!! ATTENTION the picture of the traded product showing its serial number and proof of destruction needs to be sent within 30 days after the order date. Please see page 4 & 5 to find out how to provide proof of destruction. CNH retain the right to invoice at a regular price the unlock received.!! 5 Proof of Destruction This bulletin describes how dealers can decommission CNH products in the field, and provide Proof of Destruction In Field (DIF), as an alternative to returning products. Process This process should only be used if authorized by CNH as part of the Trade In program. If products are destroyed without instruction or authorization from CNH, the dealer will be responsible for the cost or repair. Locate the serial number label of the product to be destroyed. Take care not to damage or deface in any way the serial number. A clear photograph of the number will be required at the end of the process. Use a hand grinder or drill to cut in to the sealed unit or connectors in such a way as to render the product unusable and beyond repair. The damage to the unit should be adjacent to the serial number label such that both can be seen in a single photograph. See examples on the following page. Take a photograph of the serial number and the damage. Make sure that the numbers are in focus and can be clearly read. Save the photograph to your computer and give them a name that describes the product and the serial number, such as <name>_<serial #>.* For example: Ag252_5432E12345 FM1000_4325E23451 FM750_3425E34512 Photographs can be sent as JPEG or as PDF format. The resolution of the photograph should be at least 1024x768 pixels, and the serial number must be legible. Send the photograph to the contact at CNH as instructed by the program documents. Dispose of the product using your local waste electronic equipment regulations. Audit provisions Destroyed products should be retained for 30 days after submitting the necessary photograph. CNH retains the right to audit any DIF claims within 30 days. After 30 days, you are permitted to dispose of the product in a safe and environmentally acceptable way, without any further approvals. 5/10
