1 User Manual of ET-ARM7 STAMP LPC9 Board ET-ARM7 STAMP LPC9 ET-ARM7 STAMP LPC9 which is ARM7TDMI-S Core Microcontroller Board uses 6 Pin 6/-Bit Low Power No.LPC9 from Philips as MCU in Board. Board Structure is designed in a small size for applying easily and user can connect MCU with basic components and uses Pin from external. +.V Power Supply can support 5V I/O and a Port of Connector URT0 (RS-) can download HEX File or uses with RS Communication in written Application Program. Specification 6/-Bit MCU ARM7TDMI-S No.LPC9 from Philips Crystal MHz with MHz high speed collect data by using through Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) inside MCU Supporting In-System Programming (ISP) and In- Application Programming via On-Chip Boot-Loader Software and UART0 (RS) +.V Power Supply only (.0V-.6V±0%Error) 8 KB Flash Memory in MCU and 6 KB Static Ram Maximum 6 I/O Pins GPIO connecting with 5V I/O and using GPIO Pin with other functions; -ch.spi, -ch.c, -ch.can, -Channel 0 Bit A/D Converter -ch. 3 User Manual of ET-ARM7 STAMP LPC9 Board Download Hex File to Board s MCU Philips LPC000 Flash Utility is the title of downloading Hex File to Flash Memory via connecting computer PC s Serial Port. You can download this program from Philips website Proceeding of Download HEX File to MCU. Connecting RS Serial Port Interface of PC with Board (ET-RS). Providing electricity +. V Power Supply to Board and red Power LED is switched on. Running Philips LPC000 Flash Utility Program and it will display as in the picture.. Setting default values into program. In case of using LPC9 of ETT S ET-ARM STAMP LPC9, you set default value as below instruction; ) Select No. of Com Port to use correctly (an example is COM) ) Set Baud Rate value range of 800 to 800 because there s not any problem or use Standard Speed as ) Select MCU No. LPC9 ) Set Frequency Crystal Oscillator value in Board correctly. Its unit is MHz and value isn t more than 5 units. For example, its value is MHz, so it is ETT CO.,LTD --
4 User Manual of ET-ARM7 STAMP LPC9 Board 5) Click Read Device ID for connecting CPU and there s a message to warn you to Boot Mode as in the picture. 6) Press Switch Reset and Switch Load (BSL) of ET-ARM STAMP LPC9 Board for resetting MCU to run. Proceedings of Boot Loader are; Press Switch Load (BSL) for a while Press Switch Reset while still pressing Load Switch(BSL) Let Switch Reset while still pressing Switch Load (BSL) Lastly, let Switch Load (BSL) then click OK 7) Connect CPU and there s detail of Port ID and Boot Loader as in the picture. 8) Set HEX File to run program 9) Click Upload to Flash and LPC000 Program starts to download data to MCU. You need to wait for program is finished completely as in the picture. ETT CO.,LTD --
