1 License Key Center How do you get license keys for IBM Security products? The License Key Center (LKC) is an online application that provides an easy access to the license keys for your IBM software products. After you place an order for a Security System product, the license keys for the product will be available in License Key Center for you to pick up. The License Key Center is accessible through the IBM web site, however it is hosted by Flexera Software, a leader in the electronic licensing industry. 1

2 Accessing License Key Center After clicking the link to License Key Center, you will see this page Find the link on IBM pages, or GOOGLE for Rational License Key Center 2

3 Logging into your account Enter your and password to login 3

4 Accessing your account After a successful login, you will be directed to your acount, which correspond to your IBM site number 4 If you have multiple IBM site numbers, you will have multipple accounts

5 Navigating to your product The main page displays a list of IBM products associated with your account 5 Click on the name of the product for which you generate licenses

6 Navigating to the license key Some products have only one licence key, another products like AppScan Enterprise have several keys Click on the name of the key for which you generate license 6

7 Creating a license key On this page, you see a list of sales orders for the selected license key. For example, if you purchased 10 licenses on sales order and then later on you purchased additional 5 licenses on sales order 10022, you will see licenses for both orders. Select one or more sales orders and press "Next" 7

8 Creating a license key If the host exists choose it from the pull down menu. If not, fill the Host ID and Hostname as described on next pages. On this page, enter the number of keys you wish to generate (a value that is equal to or less than the number of available license keys) Each of the items has a pop-up help window that will give you details about the item 8

9 Filling Host data using Disk Serial Number In the Host ID pull down menu choose Disk Serial Number (Windows only) Run License Key Administrator on the machine where the licenses are going to be installed 9

10 Filling Host data using Ethernet Address In the Host ID pull down menu choose Ethernet Address (Windows,...) Run License Key Administrator on the machine where the licenses are going to be installed 10

11 Creating a license key After you enter the required information select "Generate" Repeate the process for ALL license keys that need to be generated 11
