1 Viaplay GameCenter-F Instruction Viaplay GameCenter is a keyboard and touchscreen mapping app developed by Viaplay Corporation. Viaplay GameCenter has two main methods of input mapping. (*Rooted device required for mapping functions) 1) Remapping of keyboard presses and gamepad buttons on Viaplay brand smart control devices. 2) Mapping specific areas of the touchscreen of smartphones/tablets to buttons on Viaplay brand smart control devices. Viaplay GameCenter also allows players to find, download, and launch compatible games for Viaplay controllers. (*Root is not required for Game list) 1. Authorize Root Permission to the App: Android cellphones and tablets require root for full functionality of Viaplay GameCenter. Run the app and when the window for Root Permission Request appears, authorize root permission to the apk. 2. Enable Viaplay GameCenter as the current input method: Go to Settings>Language & input> KEYBOARD & INPUT METHODS, and check the box marked Viaplay GameCenter

2 Then go to Viaplay GameCenter>Settings> Click to change input Method, and select Viaplay GameCenter Viaplay GameCenter is a gaming input method for Viaplay smart controllers, not for text input. Please change back to the previous input method after use.

3 3. Open Viaplay GameCenter, select any game from the Games List, and click Get to download and install the game from Google Play. If you already installed the game, push Play to launch. 4. If an installed game is not in the game list, please click Add Game on the bottom left of the screen. A window will pop up which you can use to add games. 5. For games with HID device support (Standard keyboard or game controller), users can easily assign keyboard and HID gamepad commands to specific buttons on the controller. This is done by selecting the key mapping button associated with any game in the Game List to enter the Key Mapping Menu.(Note: Key mapping only works for games that have been installed and added into the Game List.) In the Key Mapping menu, select the button on the Viaplay controller you d like to program, and then the corresponding Keyboard key you would like it to activate. This works for all front facing action buttons, shoulder buttons, d-pad and even specific joysticks axis on the controller.

For those games that only support touch screen input on Smart Phones/tablets, users can map a specific area on the touch screen to the buttons of controller, or assign the virtual joystick to the gamepad s physical joystick: 1. Switch the gamepad into game mode 2. Start the game, press the select and start buttons on the controller at the same time until a screen shot appears 3. Select the desired location on the screen, a round marker will show up, 4. Now push the corresponding button on the controller. The button code will show on the marker, meaning the mapping is set up successfully.

5 5. Joystick mapping: place the finger tip on the center point of the virtual joystick, and move towards the edge. Release the finger when the circle covers the virtual joystick, then move the corresponding physical joystick to activate it. Repeat the process to add the second joystick. 6. Press save and exit to quit touch mapping and start gaming. 7. Users can define the default gaming buttons based on their own preference. By clicking the Key Mapping next to Default 1 - Default 4, users can easily create and save up to 4 different profiles. For those games in which key mappings have been set up specifically, the key mapping on the gamepad will match the game's individual settings. For games in which key mappings have not been set up specifically, the key mapping on the gamepad will follow the current "Default" setting.
