STEP 1 Login Login using your registered email and password. STEP 2 User panel Go to User Panel by clicking that link in the top menu.

STEP 3 Add a new App Add your first Android/iOS/Windows Phone App using the Add a new App section using the following steps: 1. Get your App s marketplace URL. To get your Android App marketplace URL, go to your App on Android market place ( and copy the URL for your App from the address bar. To get your ios App marketplace URL, go to your App s itunes page on your PC, click on the dropdown button just next to Get button and click Copy link. GETTING STARTED WITH INSTALL4INSTALL 3

To get your Windows App marketplace URL, go to your App on Windows phone store (http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store) and copy the URL for your App from the address bar. To get your Amazon.

Once you have the marketplace URL of your App, paste the URL in the Marketplace textbox (1) as shown in figure below.

To get your Amazon.com App store URL, go to your App on Amazon.com app store ( and copy the URL for your App from the address bar. 2. Once you have the marketplace URL of your App, paste the URL in the Marketplace textbox (1) as shown in figure below. Then select Install, comment and/or rate (2) check boxes according to your expectation for your App. Each checkbox will give 1 point each to the installer and deduct 1 point from your points when they install/comment/rate your App. Finally, click the Add App button (3). STEP 4 My Apps Now, you will be able to see the App you just added in the My Apps section. This means your App is live and other people can now see it in the Review exchange page and install/comment/rate it. Below is a list of different colors of Apps. Pink signifies a premium featured App, Yellow signifies a Featured App, Green signifies a Paused App and white signifies a normal App that s live. GETTING STARTED WITH INSTALL4INSTALL 4

Hide: Clicking this button will hide your App from your list. The notion is same as delete. Calculate worth: Clicking this button will lead you to our sister website http://appworthcalculator.

5 For each App listed in the My Apps section, you can perform some actions using the operation buttons. The operation buttons are explained as follows: Pause: Clicking this button will pause your App and it won t be shown in our system. You can click resume at any time to resume its operation. Hide: Clicking this button will hide your App from your list. The notion is same as delete. Calculate worth: Clicking this button will lead you to our sister website where you can know the real dollar value of your App. Feature App: Clicking this dropdown will allow you to Premium feature/feature your App in our Review exchange page and Explore page for 1 month. Featuring an App will maximize its visibility to installers. We offer extra points to installers who install featured Apps. This assures more installs, ratings and reviews for a featured App. Premium Apps are shown exclusively in Premium Apps section. Featured Apps are shown in Featured Apps section. 6 STEP 5 My Points Your App will be shown to others till your total points are greater than zero (not applicable for Premium featured Apps). Your total points = Bought points (from us) + Earned points by you (installing/commenting/rating other people s Apps) - Revoked points. These terms are explained below. Bought points: You can buy points from us using the dropdown in the Operation column as show above in the figure. Earned points: Other developers Apps are shown in Review exchange page. For every install, comment and rating of an App you do, you get 3 points. For a featured App, you get extra points. There are other ways to gain points as well such as rating an App s UI and functionality. Revoked points: Other users can revoke your points if they found your install/comment/rating to be misrepresented or misappropriate. To be fair to others, we will ban your account if your revoked points are greater than 10. And if your revoked points are greater than 5, we will restrict your activity on our website. This is to help our community stay happy J. STEP 6 Earning points and Review exchange Prerequisite: Please log in to Install4Install.com from your mobile phone (Android, iphone or Windows Phone). Android users, please download Install4Install Android App to your phone. Click on Review exchange link in the top menu to open the Review exchange page. This page lists Premium featured Apps, Featured Apps and all other Apps currently in the system. As shown in figure below, you can see Apps listed as rounded rectangles. Each rounded rectangle shows an App s name, its image, its category and number of points it can fetch you and the user expectation from you (install, comment and/or rate). The white rounded rectangles signify that you haven t installed this App yet and red rounded rectangle signifies that you have already installed this App in the past and got points for it. Please install the App on your phone, open it and only then comment/rate the App.

7 For each white App you see, note what user expects from you install, comment and/or rate. Click on the App. This will open Android marketplace/itunes where you can install, comment and/or rate the App as per user s expectations. Please install the App on your phone, open it and only then comment/rate the App. Please note down the name/display name you used in this process on the Android marketplace/itunes/windows marketplace to comment/rate the App this is important. Once you have done your job, you can return to Review exchange page in the browser. Here, you will see the following Verification popup dialog: GETTING STARTED WITH INSTALL4INSTALL 7

Fill in your name/display name used in Android marketplace/itunes/windows marketplace in the Name used for review textbox as shown in the figure above.

This is your chance to let the owner know what you think about his App suggestions, comments, bug found? Remember, if you do this, other people will do it for you as well.

Also, you can always add some optional suggestions/bug reports you have for the owner of the App using the Optional suggestions/bug report to owner textbox as shown above. This is your chance to let the owner know what you think about his App suggestions, comments, bug found? Remember, if you do this, other people will do it for you as well. You can also rate the App s UI and functionality and we will offer an extra point to you. You may select a different Playstore language according to your phone settings (for Android users who stay in country where English is not the first language) using the Playstore language dropdown. Once you are done, click Ok. This will fetch you the points associated with that App. Please DO NOT click ok if you haven t installed and reviewed the App or your points will be revoked. J TIP: Clicking Save name button above will save your display name in our system so you don t need to type it every time. STEP 7 Getting details of installers who installed your App and verifying them You can check complete details of installers who have installed your App by clicking the Show details link for that App as shown below. You will be able to view total installs and countries graphs, star ratings for User interface and functionality for that App, complete installers details including their Name, device, notes they left for you, their place, language used in Play store, timestamp as a tabular view (see figure below) along with the status (by default Valid) and operation for that particular install. Please go to your App s developer Console and verify these installs. If you think someone forged or misrepresented an install, please click on Report button. We will personally verify the install and revoke the installers points back if we find him guilty. We will refund you those points in such a case. The status for that install will then turn from Valid to Revoked. Yes, you will have the option to mark it valid again using Mark valid button. GETTING STARTED WITH INSTALL4INSTALL 8

9 STEP 8 Seeing your own Earned/Revoked points history To see your own Earned/Revoked points history, you can click on Show my activity link in the Earned points column in the My points section in your User panel page. 10 STEP 9 Monthly install quota To maintain the spirit of our community and make it more functional, every developer (except premium developer members) must install, rate and review atleast 10 Apps every month. We will be happy to give priority to your Apps over other Apps in our Review exchange page from next month if you meet this requirement. However, if a developer is unable to meet this minimum monthly quota requirement, his Apps will get less priority over other Apps from next month. This gives a fair chance to those members who are willing to take out a few minutes every month and review other member's apps. Please note If you are a new member of the community, you will be automatically waived from the monthly quota requirement for the last month and you will be required to meet the monthly quota requirement for the month that you joined. To see your monthly quota status, please go to User panel and you will see Monthly install quota just under My points section. Here, the Status tells you how many installs you have done for that month and how many are remaining. Last activity is also shown. STEP 10 App slots and premium developer membership Every new user is given some free points along with free App slots. App slots means how many new Apps you can add to your account. Each App slot entitles you to add a new App to your account. Once you have exhausted your free App slots, you can buy additional slots from us. You may also buy Premium developer membership from us that gives you 20 App slots, 30 points and frees you from monthly install quota requirement.
