Click Here to Enter Program How To. Find Help To access the Help Sheets just click on the Help Button on the Righthandside of any screen. You will then see a message telling you that you will need Internet access to view the Help File. Click on OK This will take you to our Website Card Creations Plus Help files for our CDs are listed on this page, just scroll Down to find the one you want and click on the link. This will open the Help File in Pdf format which is readable with your Adobe Reader program. You can save this Pdf file to your desktop for future Reference
What is in Help In Help you will find the following help sheets in PDF format to enable you to print them out and keep. The Program Help Sheets will be opened up in Adobe Reader and are all Printable: Instructions for: 10 Program Help Sheets Fold-Up Instructions for Boxes, Bags, Envelopes etc. Mydallions Instructions How to use Mydallions on Cards How to use the Card Inserts All of the Instructions Sheets are opened in Adobe Reader and are all Printable Opening a Design After opening your CD Rom you will reach the opening screen, which will take you to the Products screen. If you hover with your Mouse over each of the Buttons, a text description will appear around each one of them in turn. From top to bottom Buttons indicate Card Designs, Backing Sheets, Panel Toppers/Cameos, 3D Cards, 3D Pictures, Backgrounds, Ribbons, Card Inserts and Fold-Ups. To open up any of the designs first click on the button for Card Designs and the next screen will show you the Designs Sets to choose from With Cameos, With Panels and 3D Cards. Select which Design Set you want by clicking on the marked Button. Each one of these buttons takes you to the full set of Designs for you to choose from click on Cameos and
you will be shown the Theme screen to choose our design from. There are 25 Art Deco Designs to choose from, the screen initially shows on 15 design themes but the screen has a scroll bar down the lefthand side for you to access a further 10 design images. This is the Theme screen, you will see this whenever you are to make a choice of design. Which ever Product style you have chosen on your first screen, the corresponding sheets will open in each individual Theme of your choice. If you click on the first image on the top line this is the next screen you will see. This shows you the card created from the Cameo design you also have the facility to view your card in a perspective view. Print Your Designs Along the bottom of this screen you will see 3 options these are to access your design sheets- Print, Preview Perspective, Print Cameo Sheet. Print Will print just the card sample. Preview Perspective will show you the Image from a different angle. Print Cameo Sheet will display the Cameo sheet ready for printing to print click on Print This is the same format for the 3d Cards and the Toppers. For each of the Buttons on the Products screen you will access the Theme screen to choose your design. When in the Backing Sheets you will choose a style and a design, you get a choice of the 25 Art Deco Designs. You have a choice of either Portrait or Landscape style sheets.
Choose your Design and you will then have a choice of 6 backing sheet designs. This applies to all the Designs Sets in the backing sheet section. Here you can see that the Portrait Background has been opened ready to print. If your Printer has in its Preferences, the facility to Print sheets Borderless then I recommend you select Borderless to print your Backing Sheets. This will give you the maximum amount of paper to work with for your cards. As these files are large we show a Time Progress bar to show that the program is loading the sheet for printing. The same format applies for the Landscape Sheets. Printing is the same procedure for all features in this CD. PLEASE NOTE ALL THUMBNAILS OF BACKING SHEETS ARE SHOWN LARGER THAN THE PRINTED OUT DESIGN WILL BE. By Selecting Panel Toppers/Cameos and then Selecting Toppers you will once again have a choice of 25 designs from your Theme page. At the bottom of your screen with your Topper Cutting sheet on you will see the word Print. Click here (once again you will see the Time Bar showing Loading) then you will get the screen with the Cutting Sheet ready to print.
Click on Print at the bottom of the page to send to your printer. Don t forget if you are using a Speciality Paper (which is recommended) you must set your printer to print the type of paper you are using. The next section on this screen is the Cameos. Click on Cameos and then choose your design from the Theme screen. This shows you the Cutting Sheet for the Cameo chosen. The Printing procedure is the same as for the Toppers. The next section on your Products screen is 3D Cards, choose your design from the Theme screen to proceed. Along the bottom of your screen you will have two options Print - Open Decoupage. As the Print procedure is the same for everything I will not cover this again. The Open Decoupage I will cover in more detail later on. The next Section is 3D Pictures. The Cutting sheets for the 3D Pictures are similar to the 3D Cards. The difference being the size of the finished image.
Using these Cutting Sheets you can make A4 Cards and Pictures. The next section is Backgrounds. I have included just the backgrounds from each if the designs I have created to give you the facility of mix and matching your designs. i.e. Background from one design and the Cutting pieces from another design. The next section is Ribbons. These are included on this CD as Embellishments for you cards and can be used in a variety of ways. Choose your Ribbon Sheet, for this example I have chosen the first one Top Left. Click on the Print Button and you will see the Time Bar indicating the loading of the sheet. Once this is loaded you can select Print at the Bottom of the sheet (you will also see the time bar again as the sheet is loaded to your printer). Set your printer preferences for the type of paper you are using I would suggest a nice medium weight of Glossy or Matte lightweight card). I have added a picture of a card utilising the Top Ribbon from this sheet. As you can see they compliment the designs and give your card an extra embellishment. How to Use Card Inserts
Click on the Card Inserts icon on the Products Screen and you will be given a choice of the following: Medium & Large Square Landscape Square Medium & Large Square Portrait Square Medium & Large Square Landscape Oval Medium & Large Square Portrait Oval By clicking on the More button you will then have a choice of: A6 & A5 Landscape & Portrait Square A6 & A5 Landscape & Portrait Oval Make your choice of Template. Choose your design as previously from the Theme screen. You can then choose the pattern to floodfil your template. You will see in the Right-hand section of the Insert Template a Text box with the words Type your message here. Along the bottom of the pane you will see the Options for you to choose your Font, Font Size and Colour. There approximately 100 fancy fonts to choose from and the Full Colour Spectrum to print your text in. Make your choice and then Type your message. Once you have done this, click on Print and send the Insert to your Printer. Full instructions are available on a separate sheet within the help section. The design images used on this separate sheet may differ from these but the procedure is the same for all Inserts on any of our CDs. * Please note, when using the Portrait option, your message is typed in the bottom pane see Red Box for illustration.
Creating Fold-Ups Firstly click on the Fold-Up button this will then open up the next screen which gives you the choice of 6 Fold-Up styles:-. Mini Envelope, Cushion Box, Carrier Bag, Square Box, Handbag, Gift Envelope. Which-ever style Fold-Up you choose your next screen will be the Theme screen as before, this is so that you can choose your design for flood filling your Fold-Up style. * An added addition on this screen is Import Tile from Decoupage. If you have previously created a tile from a new design that you have made with 3d2 Card-builder, you can at this point import this tile to flood-fill your Fold-Up. When you select Import Tile from Decoupage this will link up with the Decoupage 2 Tile Folder in your My Documents for you to select the tile you wish to import and use. If you just wish to use one of the backing sheets on the CD proceed as follows. From your Theme Screen choose your design. Your next screen gives you the choice of 6 Backing sheet designs. Choose the design which meets your needs and this will flood-fill your Fold-Up design. By selecting the PRINT option you can send this sheet to your printer at this point. Instructions for constructing all the Fold-ups are both on the sheets and On separate sheets in the Help file. As these apply to the Fold-ups in General from all the CDs in our range the designs may differ from those on this CD.
Making Changes to 3d and Pyramage Designs For this facility you will need to have installed on your Computer the 3D2 Card-builder program. If you choose Open Decoupage this will open the 3d2 Card-builder program. This will only open the design in 3D2 Card-builder if you have this program installed on your PC. From your design you can create further Cut-outs, change your design from 3d to Pyramage and Visa Versa and create Backing sheets. By clicking on the Pyramage button highlighted in the blue box on the right-hand picture on the middle line you have the option to select the style of Pyramage and number of layers you want. The next picture shows a Pyramage example with 7 layers. The Instructions for using 3D2 Cardbuilder are in the Help Files on the Website Please refer to these for further help. To Close Program CD Clicking Exit on the Top right of any screen will close the program this is the final screen and to remove this from your screen click anywhere within it to close completely. PLEASE NOTE As this CD contains high resolution images it takes a few seconds before your PC screen returns to the desktop. I hope you enjoy using this CD.
