1 This is a guide to the new Website where our new dynamic reports can be found, along with other new features. Step 1 Opening Website Open Internet Browser Go to Step 2 Logging In To login type in User Name and Password which would have been received by , in the left hand Account Login section and click on Log In button. If you want the website to remember the User login details for next time click the Remember me next time check box. Users will need to be logged in to be able to access the reports available on the website. If the User has forgotten any of their login details they can click on the Forgotten your Password? link and an will be sent to them confirming their details. 2 Step 3 Using the Website Once you have successfully logged into the Gateway the details of you account will now be displayed on the left hand side. Above is a screenshot of the Home Page. Useful Links Below the Account Details section are various links to the key areas of the FTA website click on the required area to be taken there, e.g. if you are interested in looking at what our shop can offer click on the Shopfta link to go to the Shopfta website. News Stories On the right hand side is the latest FTA News section where members can be kept up to date. To view the full news story click on the headline to access all the details. Reports Hovering over the Reports Tab will give options Dashboard Reports and Scheduled Reports Support The Support Tab on the Home Page has lots of useful information to help our members whether it is queries on digital tachograph hardware, the reports in the website or tips for the best use of scanners. 3 Development There is also more useful information in the Development Tab at the top of the page where upcoming developments are reported. Contact Us Users can also submit their ideas by ing a suggestion in the Development Suggestion Page. Dashbord Reports Explained Get in-depth explanations on all the Dashboard report sets from high to low levels. CDU Find information on FTA s Customer Data Uploader software, current and previous version as well as technical information and downloads. Dashboard Reports The dashboard reports are the key feature of this website. The reports are laid out in highly versatile reporting sets with varying levels of detail ranging from company to driver level. Permissions can be set up for users so that they only see what they want to see whether it be all levels from top to bottom or just one depot and all of its drivers. Different report levels can also be created for a higher quality reporting set up. The reports are a lot more user friendly than our existing reports with our new drill down feature where users can click on reports to go down through the various levels of detail. FTA members have had a large input in what they would like their reports to do and this feedback has been integral to the developments of our new cutting edge reporting. 4 The above screenshot shows the default dashboard report sets. The reports are all showing results for the whole company. If a user wishes to go into one of the report sets they click on it and they will be taken to the next level (depending on their permissions). All report sets are explained in the support section of the website: Driver Upload Compliance Company Performance Status league Table Company Period Comparison Rolling 12 Month Company Trend Graduated Fixed Penalties Vehicle Download Compliance Users can change the report sets displayed in the dashboard by clicking on the drop down arrow (whether there is a report there or not) and choose from the selection of report sets available to them: GRD 14 Page 4 of 5 Issue 1 JB/JA 04 Nov 2011

5 Hovering over the Symbol gives an outlined description of the report set: The report sets have been designed to be as easy to use as possible and navigating from one report level to the next. To drill down to the next level in a report set the user needs to click on the report section you require to drill into. E.g. A user wants to look at a particular depot s driver compliance status so in the driver upload compliance the user drills to the page where the depot is displayed and then click on the depot s data to look at the drivers at that depot. For a user to go back to the previous level they need to click on the breadcrumb that is displayed for the report they were previously in: The screenshot above displays the breadcrumb trail of the report set. The breadcrumb that is in bold symbolises the report level the user is currently looking at. To go back to the previous report level click on the report itself. E.g. in the above scenario the user is currently in the Driver Upload Compliance by Driver report level, so to go to the previous level they would click on the Driver Upload Compliance by Depot breadcrumb. CDU Online is our Customer Data Upload software with the added bonus of being on the web, there is a user guide that can be accessed from the CDU Online at any time.
