3 Naviga9ng to Content Our newly redesigned website makes accessing content even easier. From the homepage at users can: Search by Keyword Author Journal Browse by Collec9ons Journal

4 Naviga9ng to Content Access icons on the homepage iden9fy what is currently included in your subscrip9on: An orange checkbox indicates complete access to all volumes from Volume 1 A blue checkbox indicates access to either current volumes or some back volumes No icon indicates access to abstracts only.

5 Naviga9ng to Content From every page, users can also roll over the Journals tab to browse journals alphabe9cally. Clicking on the Journals tab will take users to a page where they can browse journals alphabe9cally.

6 Naviga9ng to Content Journal Homepage Browsing will take users to a journal s homepage. From here users can view: Current Volume Forthcoming Content Volume Selector to back volumes Most Downloaded Reviews Most Cited Reviews General informa9on about the journal, including the current editorial commizee, featured reviews, and news.

7 Naviga9ng to Content Journal Homepage From the journal homepage, users can preview Abstracts, Thumbnails, Related Content, and Supplemental Materials for specific ar9cles. This feature is available on all Table of Contents pages.

8 Naviga9ng to Content Journal Homepage Here is a preview of the Thumbnail figures as shown on the journal homepage. Users can scroll through thumbnail images of all figures from an ar9cle directly from the Table of Contents page.

9 Naviga9ng to Content Journal Homepage From the journal homepage, users can also view Related Content for each ar9cle, which includes similar ar9cles read ar9cles by the same authors keywords that have been chosen by the authors

11 Searching Content Users can Search by keyword, author, or journal directly from the homepage. There is also a Quick Search box at the top right hand corner of every page. Quick Search allows searching by keywords or authors across all Annual Reviews content.

16 Accessing Content Ar9cle level page Full text HTML ar9cle level pages are designed to keep readers in context while naviga9ng the content. New features in the right hand column allow easy access to Figures, References, Related Reviews, and Keyword Searches related to the ar9cle. New feature!

17 Accessing Content Ar9cle level page Users can also click to view the full text PDF version of the ar9cle from the full text HTML page.

18 Accessing Content Ar9cle level page Expanding the drop down feature on the arhcle headings allows users to quickly navigate to different sec9ons of the ar9cle. New feature!

19 Accessing Content Ar9cle level page When a user navigates to a new sec9on of the ar9cle, tag along navigahon allows the righthand content box to follow alongside as they scroll down the ar9cle page.

20 Figures and illustra9ons can be viewed in mul9ple sizes and downloaded for use in PowerPoint slides. Annual Reviews: Accessing Figures Figures can also be viewed directly within the full text HTML by clicking on the Figure Loca9ons tab.

21 Accessing Literature Cited The References sec9on of each ar9cle is a valuable resource, showing literature cited and OpenURL linking via CrossRef, Medline, and ISI s Web of Science. The tag along naviga9on allows users to scroll and read the full text HTML, while viewing all references.

22 Contextual Snippets and Shared Cita9on Links New feature! The References sec9on now includes contextual snippets that are highlighted and hyperlinked to the places in the text where each reference is cited. In addi9on, the References sec9on includes contextual snippets from other Annual Reviews arhcles that cite the same reference. These shared citahon links make it easy to find specific passages from other ar9cles that cover the same topic.

23 Accessing Literature Cited OpenURL linking allows users to view references via CrossRef, Medline, and ISI s Web of Science.

24 Related Reviews (from ar9cle level page) Related Reviews show similar ar9cles that users have also read.

25 Keyword Search (from ar9cle level page) Users can perform a Keyword Search directly from the ar9cle level page. A drop down allows users to search across Annual Reviews content or PubMed. PubMed search results will pop up in a new window.
