2 Overview: The purpose of this guide is to provide a quick and easy guide on how to utilize IHCDAOnline s Supporting Documentation tab within the claims screens to upload a claim s supporting documentation directly to the claim and transmit it to IHCDA. This is only applicable to programs under the IHCDA Claims Submission Manual available on our website. This guide will provide step by step instructions and screenshots to assist you with the electronic filing of supporting documentation. DOCUMENTATION IS NOT TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE CLAIM@IHCDA.IN.GOV ANYMORE. THIS WILL NOW FUNCTION FOR QUESTIONS REGARDING CLAIM SUBMISSION AND REVIEW ONLY. ALL DOCUMENTAITON MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH IHCDAONLINE IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE ACCEPTED. Step by Step Instructions: 1.) Go to the IHCDAOnline website: 2.) Select AuthorityOnline 3.) Enter your Username and Password. If you do not have a username and password, please see the Registering for a Username and Password video tutorial available at: 2
3 4.) Select Award Claims Management from the option menu. Please note the options you see will vary based upon your permission and access rights. 5.) If you have already started a claim (this includes claims you have submitted) and wish to upload supporting documentation to it, please go to the claim listing and click on the claim receipt number you wish to upload documentation to. If you wish to start a new claim, please skip step 5 and go to step 6. 6.) If you wish to create a new claim for expenses not previously submitted (denied claims should be used to re-submit previously denied information or expenses)- please refer to the videos and tutorials on creating a new claim available at 7.) Once you have completed steps 5 or 6, you should see the screen below. Select the Supporting Documentation tab. 3
4 8.) Once you have clicked on the tab, you should see the screen below. 9.) From here, please select the Choose File button. Select the file you wish to upload. 10.) You will then select the Document Type you wish to upload. You should select Claims Documentation. 11.) Hit submit. 12.) CONGRATULATIONS! Your supporting documentation has been uploaded to IHCDAOnline. Notes for the Supporting Documentation Tab and IHCDAOnline: This section will contain notes and information relevant to IHCDAOnline and the Supporting Documentation tab not otherwise covered in the guide. IHCDAOnline does not support all browsers. There is a notice page at the sign in page that provides information on the minimum system requirements to use IHCDAOnline. If you are using a browser that does not meet the minimum requirements, you will likely encounter multiple errors and be unable to complete certain functionality, such as submit claims or upload documentation, within IHCDAOnline. You will also notice an inability to print the claim receipt/summary pages if you are using an outdated browser. 4
5 Supporting documentation should be submitted with the specific claim associated. In the case of SPC or PSHPD, the supporting documentation for the CSBG component must be uploaded with the CSBG claim. If it is not, the CSBG claim will be denied and require re-submission with the supporting documentation. Claims that do not have supporting documentation submitted through IHCDAOnline within three (3) business days will be denied in line with IHCDA policy. Only certain files types are accepted via the document upload. The screenshot in Step 8 lists the file types are accepted. File types other than this will result in an upload error. 5
