Activating Lively Theme In order to edit the dashboard and use the space navigation, Lively Theme must be activated. Go to the Confluence Administration Look and Feel / Themes, select Lively Theme and confirm.

2 Editing the Dashboard Go to the dashboard and click "Edit Dashboard" in the lower left corner. By default, every Confluence administrator can see this button and is able to edit the dashboard. Creating the Dashboard Page In order to edit the dashboard, Lively Theme needs to create a Confluence page. On the first time clicking the "Edit dashboard" button, you will be presented with a dialog to create this dashboard page. It can be in your personal space, or in any space you like. If you restrict the editing of the page, you will be the only person that can edit the dashboard. You can of course edit the page restrictions to allow additional users to edit the page. They then will also see the "Edit dashboard" button.

3 From now on, if you click "Edit Dashboard", you will be redirected in the editing mode of the dashboard page. Removing or Setting Another Dashboard Page If you go the Confluence Administration Lively Theme Dashboard you can remove the page or choose a different one. 8 Dashboard Element Macro The Dashboard Element macro can be used to display dashboard elements like the all-updates stream or the welcome message. With the option "custom", a CSS selector can be provided that matches a Confluence web panel that is used on the dashboard. Example: ".new-dashboard-calendar-container" for the Team Calendars panel.
