2 App Mobile and Web based monitoring of Consumers indices in the IT enabled towns for enhancing Consumer Connect, an informative App for Urban Power Distribution Sector. App has been developed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) under the aegis of Ministry of Power in collaboration with States/Uts App will work as manifestation of Hon ble Prime Minister s principles of good governance viz. People Focus, Cooperative Federalism, Progressive Competitiveness and Transparency & Accountability. App will act as an important game changer in the Power Distribution Sector. App is digital initiative to place before the people, the performance of Distribution Utilities (Discoms) in these IT enabled towns, with a vision to generate a sense of positive competition amongst the stakeholders and urge all concerned for better performance in all consumer centric parameters. App focuses on enhancing consumer connect by way of "Ranking" of towns on various parameters related to consumers in a transparent manner. App broadly classified into two dashboards based on the consumer and Utility related key indices Consumer Dashboard 1. Consumer Complaints pending 2. Avg.duration of Power cuts(hrs/month) 3. Avg.No. of Power cuts(times/month) 4. Pending connection 5. Consumers making E-payment 6. Percentage loss of power/theft IPDS Dashboard 1. Go-Live Towns 2. SCADA progress 3.
