1 Checklist for States/UTs TPDS Computerisation DIGITISATION OF TPDS DATA 1. Whether digitisation of all databases i.e. godowns, FPSs, ration cards, offices, etc. has been undertaken through application software. (tick 2. Which application software has been used for digitisation of databases (tick NIC s CAS Developed by State NIC Developed by 3 rd party 3. Whether NIC s prescribed formats are being followed for digitisation (tick 4. Whether the digitised databases are having inter-linkages amongst them. e.g. ration cards are mapped to respective FPS; FPSsmapped to godowns, etc. 5. Please specify the prescribed process adopted for digitisation: Existing / legacy data was digitized Fresh data was collected through new application forms SECC / NPR / AADHAAR / databasewas used to digitise ration card data 6. Please specify the process for validation of digitised data: Use of SECC data Use of NPR data Use of UIDAI data Field level verificationof beneficiaries Use of any other database. Please specify. 7. 3 SUPPLY-CHAIN MANAGEMENT 17. At the State intermediary godowns, please confirm whether these activities are computerized: i. Online entry for receipt of foodgrains from FCI/other godowns ii. Online foodgrains issuance for sub-godowns, FPS, etc iii. Generation of delivery order /truck-challan/ gatepass iv. SMS alerts sent to registered individuals / Vigilance Committees / FPS dealers, etc. regarding dispatch of foodgrains from godowns OR their receipt at FPSs Yes Yes Yes Yes No No No No 18. Facility for beneficiary for ration card related requests new application, address change, etc. iv. FPS-wise foodgrains allocation details on monthly basis v. FPS-wise foodgrains sale details on monthly basis vi. Commodity-wise stock position at State Godowns (may not be required in public domain) vii. Facility to register & track grievances/ complaints online 26. Whether State Portal is linked with National PDS Portal through webservices seamlessly to directly fetch data for display (not copied to any other server). 27. Whether State related progress regarding computerisation of TPDS is being reflected and updated regularly on TPDS dashboard setup by NIC.
5 OTHER ISSUES 28. Whether officers/staff have been trained for handling computerisation operations, namely, ration card management, allocation of foodgrains, godown operations, etc. 29. Whether necessary application software and IT hardware is available at all State F&CS offices and State Godowns. 30.
