2 1 New features of the basic software - Over 100 new and updated CAD models in TS 2plus, TS 5, MGE (Basic mechanic elements) and MPS - New PDF catalog data sheets and assembly instructions in MGE, MPS and ID systems - New graphical user interface with various design skins which can be chosen via View / Skin - Reorganisation of the strut profile product groups in Variable length, Quick & Easy and Packaging units to choose a profile shape faster - The previous template designer has been replaced with a new one. MTpro now uses RTF documents which can also be customised in Word. Page 2 of 10
3 1.1 Revisions of toolbars and document views - Document-specific menu commands are now directly above the document in order to identify relevant commands easily: - The search is now a full text search which considers the columns Article no, Designation and Parameter : Page 3 of 10
4 1.2 Definition of standard addresses for new order lists - If you work with the same addresses in your order lists frequently, you are now able to define standard addresses which will be inserted in new order lists: - If you would like to change the specific addresses for the current order list, you are now able to do this via Order list / Addresses : - If you create a new order list afterwards, the standard address will be inserted again. 5 1.3 Hide table columns temporarily which you do not need You are able to reduce the amount of columns in the order list and the product data list by clicking on the arrow in the column header: By clicking the small arrow in the column header, all columns left of the parameter column will be hidden. By clicking it once more, the columns will be shown again. If you sort the columns, you are able to auto-hide any column. Page 5 of 10
6 1.4 New template editor for customising templates The previous template editor is replaced with a new one, which can be used more intuitively to customise query, quotation and order templates. The new templates are saved as RTF documents which makes it possible to customise the templates with MS Word. The templates can be found in the MTpro installation directory. Modified templates can be stored in the directory for individual user data. This directory can be found in MTpro by clicking on Extras / Options / Directories : Page 6 of 10
7 2 New functions in the MTpro Layout Designer When you start the Layout Designer, the amount of days you have left to use the tool is shown. 2.1 Integration of TS 2plus From now on you are able to plan layouts with TS 2plus components in the Layout Designer. The integration of these parts is currently without transportation control. Please add transportation control separately to the order list Efficient planning with conveyor unit macros The new conveyor unit macros reduce the necessary amount of steps for creating a section unit. By inserting one single component you get a configurable combination of drive, section profiles, return unit and conveyor medium. At first glance you see which products are used and you can define the overall length of the conveyor. All components will fit to the defined overall length. An automated customisation of section profile length will equalise the different lengths of the return units. Page 7 of 10
8 2.2 Automated recognition of ring closures From now on a ring closure in MGE, MPS and TS 2plus will be recognised. They can now be opened at both ends with the yellow handles: If you move a profile which is in a ring closure, the connection on the opposite side is automatically opened and the profile can be moved in the groove: Page 8 of 10
9 2.3 MGE Brackets are moveable inside a profile groove From now on MGE brackets inside a profile groove can be moved and connected to 2 profiles: This will create new possibilities of connecting profiles in the Layout Designer which were not possible before. In addition to this you are now able to connect brackets and profiles automatically to the profile end by pressing the ALT key during the left-click on the blue position handle. Page 9 of 10
10 2.4 Integration of XLEAN flow rack system You are now able to insert the XLEAN flow rack system as one single component which can be configured as an MPS workplace. Yellow handles at the side of the component make it possible to create new flock racks very quickly based on the given parameters: If you need to change individual parts of the flow rack system, you are able to explode the selected assembly like the MPS workplace version.
