2 Page 2 of 8 INTRODUCING SUPREMA BIOCONNECT INTEGRATION WITH BRIVO ONAIR IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THIS GUIDE This guide contains two sections. The first is a brief step by step instruction set on the initial setup within your Brivo OnAir account. These steps MUST be completed prior to enrolling fingerprints in BioConnect. The second section contains step by step instructions on enrolling users and fingerprints within BioConnect. As stated above, do not attempt to enroll fingerprints into BioConnect without first adding users and credentials in Brivo OnAir. Suprema BioConnect makes fingerprint enrollment simpler with Brivo OnAir. This document will serve as a guide for this enrollment process, taking place after the BioConnect installation (see the BioConnect v3.0 Installation and User Guide). Before using BioConnect, both users and credentials must be created and associated with one another in Brivo OnAir. If users will only be using fingerprints as their credentials you must still create cards within Brivo OnAir and associate them with users. Note: Brivo DataSync is required to use BioConnect with Brivo OnAir.

3 SECTION 1 BRIVO ONAIR CONFIGURATION BRIVO ONAIR USER/CREDENTIAL SETUP A. Within the DataSync connected Brivo OnAir account, go to setup->cards->add cards. a. Add the amount of cards for the amount of users that will be added to BioConnect. b. For example, if 100 users will be using their fingerprint as credentials, ensure that 100 cards are created. c. Note the type of credentials that were created and the facility code if used. B. Once the credentials are created they must be associated with a Brivo OnAir user. If users have not been created please ensure to do so first Brivo Systems LLC. All Rights Reserved

4 Page 4 of 8 BIOCONNECT USER/CREDENTIAL SETUP BIOCONNECT BRIVO ONAIR USER SYNCHRONIZATION A. Open BioConnect and login. B. Go to Menu -> Synchronize Users. C. Click the green Start button.

5 Page 5 of 8 D. The users list in BioConnect will now list all current Brivo OnAir users. Note: BioConnect must be re-synchronized with Brivo OnAir if users are added or deleted in Brivo OnAir. USER MANAGEMENT A. Once the synchronization is complete, click User Management.

6 Page 6 of 8 B. User Management will list all users that have been created in Brivo OnAir. C. If the Brivo OnAir user has a credential associated with them it will be listed as active in BioConnect. a. In the example below, both user 2 and 3 are active and can have fingerprint credentials enrolled. FINGERPRINT ENROLLMENT A. From the home screen, click Quick Enrollment. B. Select the reader which will be used to enroll fingerprints.

7 Page 7 of 8 C. Under Search for a User, type the user name of the user whose fingerprint is being enrolled. D. Choose the desired finger to be enrolled by selecting it from Select a Finger. E. Click Enroll. D. Each fingerprint template box will display Scanning Mode when the enrollment reader is ready to scan. E. Place appropriate finger on sensor and remove when fingerprint is displayed. F. Repeat until all 3 fingerprint copies are captured.

8 Page 8 of 8 G. Now that the fingerprints are enrolled they must be associated with the user. H. Return to the User Management page. a. Expand the user details by clicking the +. I. Under the user details click the Credentials tab. J. All credentials that have been associated with this user in Brivo OnAir will be listed. K. Choose the desired credential to be associated with the fingerprint. L. Once complete, synchronize users. M. Users and fingerprints are now associated. N. Users are now ready to be given permissions to doors/devices via Brivo OnAir. O. Follow the general procedure for provisioning user permissions in Brivo OnAir.
