2 WORLDSHARE CATALOGING AND METADATA An OCLC Cataloging Subscription provides unlimited* access via WorldShare to WorldCat and related metadata for the purposes of cataloging items, both to represent library holdings in WorldCat, and to download WorldCat metadata to local systems. [*There is a limited alternative called Cat Express, a copcataloging only tool that charges based on a preset number of records that can be used included/using included/not using $+ Available/using Available /not using n/a? WorldShare Metadata: Record Manager (coming soon, for record creation, editing, maintenance; authorities, terminologies; LHRs, LBDs, and a Works view). Collection Manager automated management and delivery of MARC records, and automated WorldCat holdings maintenance for Collection record maintenance (DDA collections; vendor collections; OCLC Collection Sets, etc.) eserials holdings maintenance (the former eserials service) WorldCat Updates (formerly Bibliographic Notification Service) Government documents service (the former GovDoc service) Collection Manager combines WorldCat data with data in your OCLC Knowledge Base (KB). Your KB may be populated by: Direct, librarspecific feeds from providers you select Selection and cooperative management of collections via the WorldShare Metadata interface Iterative mapping from SFX, Serials Solutions, or EBSCO knowledge base files Downloading and uploading collections via standard KBART formatted files Automated selection of collections via PubGet Connexion browser one of two interfaces to cataloging services. 6 WORLDSHARE ILL An OCLC Resource Sharing Subscription provides unlimited access, via WorldShare and ILLiad, to WorldCat holdings and ILL-specific institution data to support borrowing, lending, and inter-library fee management related to resource sharing. included/using included/not using $+ Available/using Available /not using WorldShare ILL unlimited use of the ILL service to borrow and lend materials from 72,000 libraries worldwide Article Exchange IFM (Interlibrary Fee Management, incurs small $) Direct Request Support for e-lending with OCLC Knowledge Base or License Manager (LM is $; for info on populating your OCLC Knowledge Base, see above) OCLC Policies Directory ILL Policies Deflections ILL Usage Statistics and Reports Additional Services: ILLiad (ILLiad includes the above plus added features such as user account access and authentication; ingest requests via OpenURL; integration with DOCLINE and RAPID; custom workflows and statistics; local document delivery; and more).
