4 Chapter 1 Changes 1.1 Introduction Milsoft s Version release includes improvements to Voltage Drop reports in WindMil and the ability to pull background maps from Bing Maps using Enhanced LandBase. This version also includes a fix for the Report Browser disappearing when minimized. 1.2 Features This section will go over most of the large changes to the release of Version EA Device coordination reports in WindMil now display column lines. The Accumulated Impedance values in the printable report for Fault Current Analysis now always agree with the Fault Current Query in the Selected Element Window. Generator analysis now enforces the "Swing Kvar" limits set in the Circuit Element Editor. Users can now filter selections for center-tapped line connections in the Selected Element Window. When splitting a line element, we now offer the option to copy the external records on the original line to the new line. The Capacitor Placement analysis in WindMil now provides the option to add negative capacitors (reactors). The Upline Substation, Upline Feeder, and Upline Feeder Number element fields can now be used to get data from poles that have snapped lines. Voltage Drop reports have better alignment and correctly report kvar for swing generators. Users can now choose whether or not, when a line is split, attributes of the original line are transferred to the new line WindMilMap All Model Integrity lua scripts now run in WindMilMap as they do in WindMil. 1

5 1.3. BUG FIXES OMS Added Customer Responsible and Planned Outage cause code configuration to the Operations Data Service. Default crew events (arrived on site, assigned to outage, and unassigned from outage) were added to the database and Crew Manager was adjusted so they can not be accidentally removed Miscellaneous Enhanced LandBase to add the ability to pull background maps from Bing Maps and display them behind the circuit model. This functionality is available in WindMil, DisSPatch, and Unplugged. During an upgrade, any SSL certificates stored within the Web Outage Viewer s directory are preserved. 1.3 Bug Fixes This section provides a summary of smaller feature additions or bug fixes to the release of Version WindMil The fault-current query in the Selected Element Window no longer causes abnormal program termination if it is activated before re-running fault current analysis. Transformers now designate between Primary Rated Input and Primary Tap Voltage instead of only using Rated Input Voltage. Fixed an issue where disconnected elements associated with an outage or temp operation were incorrectly disappearing when unchecking Disconnected Elements. WindMil s Print Preview page will now display entirely in black and white if the option is checked. Fixed an issue where the Report Viewer window would disappear when minimized. Fixed a popup window that claimed it was an error. Fixed an issue where the "Create Row with Feature" option would generate a duplicate record when re-applying a project. Fixed an error when displaying Weather WindMilMap Fixed Abnormal Program Termination error when closing WindMilMap OMS MultiSpeak location outage status will not incorrectly state a crew has been dispatched. Fixed an issue in the Calls Recieved DRT Report that caused it to not work. Outage notifications will be sent in the expected order (OutageEventChangedNotification before CustomersAffectedByOutageNotification). Fixed an issue where call type icons were not displaying correctly when changed with an AMI Unsolicited Ping. 2

Fixed an issue where the Rename By Grid Location lua script was failing to write the results of its run to the grid_renamed.txt file.
