Enable the network ports that HP SUM uses. For more information, see Network ports used by HP SUM (page 10). Minimum requirements for Windows To successfully use HP SUM to deploy firmware and software to targets running a Windows operating system, the following must be available: A supported operating system: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2012 Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011 & 2011 Essentials Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 (uses Windows Server 2008 R2 drivers) Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Hyper-V, HPC and Web x64 Editions (Datacenter Edition is for 2 socket servers and above. Full OS and Server Core OS installations required including Hyper-V standalone.) HyperV is supported remotely only. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Foundation & Foundation R2 - supported on single-socket servers Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Hyper-V, HPC and Web x86 and x64 Editions (Datacenter Edition is for 2 socket servers and above. Full OS and Server Core OS installations required including Hyper-V standalone.) Microsoft Windows Server 2003 A local administrative system with at least 1 GB of memory NOTE: The HP SPP or HP Integrity Smart Update firmware bundle that delivered HP SUM might require more memory than HP SUM. Check the release notes for those products for information on the memory requirements. Sufficient hard-drive space of at least twice the file size of the components to be deployed 6 Prerequisites

WMI enabled on all targets All remote targets must be visible on the network by the administrative system running HP SUM An account with administrator privileges on each target server HP recommends that the user name and password for the administrator account on each target server be the same as those on the local administrative system. If administrator privileges are not set up in this manner, you must have the user name and password available for each remote server accessible. Alternatively, you can use a domain account on the local administrative system that has administrator privileges on the target servers. HP SUM requires the user to be logged in using administrator credentials. A user account elevated to Run as administrator in most cases does not have sufficient rights because access to protected system files and the Windows registry, which is needed to deploy most firmware and driver updates, is restricted. If the logged in account is unable to perform the net use * \\server\admin$ for Microsoft Windows targets, you do not have sufficient privileges to run HP SUM to remote targets. The beginning and ending IP addresses entered for the range of targets must both be on the same subnet. NOTE: When attempting to use the remote deployment functionality of HP SUM on any edition of Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, or Windows 7, you must ensure that the File and Print Services feature is enabled and that the File and Print Services exception has been enabled in the Windows firewall. Failure to do so prevents HP SUM from deploying to remote Windows targets. Enable the network ports that HP SUM uses. For more information, see Network ports used by HP SUM (page 10). Minimum requirements for Linux servers To successfully use HP SUM to perform dependency checks on targets running a Linux operating system, the following must be available: Supported operating systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for x86 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for AMD64 and Intel EM64T Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 for x86 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 for AMD64 and Intel EM64T SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 11 for x86 SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 11 for AMD64 and Intel EM64T SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 for x86 SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 for AMD64 and Intel EM64T NOTE: When upgrading to a newer minor release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, install the full operating system. If you install the kernel update only, HP SUM does not detect the correct operating system version. HP SUM checks version number using standard methods, for example checking the /etc/redhat-release file. A kernel update does not update the operating system version in the location that the standard methods use. A local administrative system with at least 1 GB of memory Prerequisites 7

NOTE: The HP SPP or HP Integrity Smart Update firmware bundle that delivered HP SUM might require more memory than HP SUM. Check the release notes for those products for information on the memory requirements. glibc or later gawk or later sed or later pciutils i386.rpm or later Be sure that the following platform-specific compatibility libraries are also installed. For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 x86 servers: libnl (required for QLogic and Emulex drivers and firmware) For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 AMD64/EM64T servers: libnl (required for QLogic and Emulex drivers and firmware) For SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 x86 servers: libnl (required for QLogic and Emulex drivers and firmware) For SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 AMD64/EM64T servers: libnl (required for QLogic and Emulex drivers and firmware) e2fsprogs-32bit NOTE: This library is graphical only, however, it is required to use HP SUM in Console mode. fontconfig-32bit For SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 11 x86 servers: libstdc i586 or later libnl (required for QLogic and Emulex drivers and firmware) For SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 11 AMD64/EM64T servers: libstdc bit or later libnl (required for QLogic and Emulex drivers and firmware) Enable the network ports that HP SUM uses. For more information, see Network ports used by HP SUM (page 10). Minimum requirements for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 servers Ensure that each NIC has an IP address assigned. To get the IP address assigned to a NIC, enter the dhclient command in the console, which launches the NIC interfaces and retrieves an IP address. If a NIC does not have an IP address, HP SUM appears to hang on start up. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 console mode 8 Prerequisites

NOTE: No X console in either x86 or x86_64 servers. To run HP SUM in silent mode, you must install the base server with defaults and the following RPMs. Load the hp-snmp-agents rpm and rpms based on hp snmp agent: lm_sensors-libs el6.<arch>.rpm net-snmp-libs el6.<arch>.rpm net-snmp el6.<arch>.rpm To build Linux drivers from source: kernel-headers el6.<arch>.rpm redhat-rpm-config el6.noarch.rpm kernel-devel el6.<arch>.rpm rpm-build el6.<arch>.rpm gcc el6.<arch>.rpm Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 graphical mode NOTE: The following RPMs must be the 32-bit version even under x86_64 architecture as Linux distributions, HP SUM, and several of the RPMs require 32-bit libraries installed. 10 For Linux deployments, a root equivalent user account must be used. SSH support must be enabled and the firewall opened to allow SSH communications on remote Linux servers or HP SUM cannot deploy updates. By default, SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 and 11 block SSH support through the firewall. To enable SSH support if it has been disabled in the firewall, use the yast2 command to open the necessary ports in the Linux firewall. IMPORTANT: HP SUM has limited cross-platform deployment support. Deployments from Windows to Linux are supported, but deployments from Linux to Windows are not supported. VMware firmware The following must be true to update a VMware ESXi 5.0 target: The target must be running VMware ESXi 5.0 or later. The target must be active on the network so HP SUM can detect it. You are not attempting to run HP SUM on the VMware ESXi 5.0 or later target. You cannot execute HP SUM locally to update a VMware ESXi 5.0 target. You are executing HP SUM on a Windows or Linux host computer. The VMware server must be running hp-smx-provider or later. You can get the bundle from one of the following locations: Version or later of the HP Insight Management WBEM Provider offline bundle. You can download the bundle from the HP Online Depot at The provider is included in version 5.25 of the HP Custom Image. You can download the HP Custom Image ISO from the Custom VMware ESXi Image for HP ProLiant Servers website at Network ports used by HP SUM HP SUM requires that certain network ports are available for proper operation. If you lock down network ports, make sure that the ports listed in the network port tables are open so that HP SUM works correctly when connecting to remote target servers and hosts. If you are unable to unlock these network ports, the only option is to run HP SUM locally and update network-based hosts, such as the OA, ilo, and VC modules, through their web interfaces. The SOAP server that HP SUM launches uses ports 443 or You can define your own ports by modifying the hpsum.ini file. 1. Open hpsum.ini in a text editor. You can find the file in the same folder as the HP SUM application. 2. Look for the following lines: PORT=443 AlternatePort= Change the AlternatePort to a port free of another web service. NOTE: For security reasons, HP recommends that you leave the main port as port 443. Table 1 HP SUM Windows network ports Ports Port 443 Ports 445 and 137/138/139 (Port 137 is used only if you are using NetBIOS naming service.) Description A secure data port used to transfer information. Connects to the remote ADMIN$ share on node servers. These are the standard ports Windows servers use to connect to the remote file shares. If you can connect 10 Prerequisites

Table 1 HP SUM Windows network ports (continued) Ports Description remotely to a remote Windows file share on the node server, you have the correct ports open. Port Ports 80 or Ports 21 or Default for some internal communications. This port listens on the remote side if there is no conflict. If a conflict occurs, the next available port is used. Updates are passed to the target and retrieved through an internal secure web server that uses port 80 if it is available. If it is not available, the Web server uses the first available port in the range of This allows ilo and VC firmware updates without having to access the host server. It also allows the servers to run VMware or other virtualization platforms to update the ilo firmware without requiring a server reboot or a migration of the virtual machines to other servers. Remote HP Integrity ilo and Superdome 2 updates require these ports to be open on systems for network traffic in both directions to transfer firmware files. NOTE: HP SUM attempts to determine if a server running HP SUM also hosts a web server. In some cases, HP SUM cannot detect an existing web server and attempts to use port 80. If this occurs, installations that are using HP SUM will fail. If failure occurs, you can move HP SUM to another server or workstation that is not already running a web server. You can also disable the web server until HP SUM installations are complete. You can use these FTP ports to perform switch updates. Table 2 HP SUM Linux network ports Ports Port 22 Port 443 Port Ports 80 or Ports 21 or Description Establishes a connection to a remote node via SSH to perform node inventory. A secure data port used to transfer information. Default for some internal communications. This port listens on the remote side if there is no conflict. If a conflict occurs, the next available port is used. Updates are passed to the target and retrieved through an internal secure web server that uses port 80 if it is available. If it is not available, the Web server uses first available port in the range of This support allows ilo and VC firmware updates without having to access the host server. It also allows servers running VMware or other virtualization platforms to update their ilo without having to reboot their server or to migrate their virtual machines to other servers. If this occurs, installations that use HP SUM will fail. If failure occurs, move HP SUM to another server or workstation that is not already running a web server. You can also disable the web server until HP SUM installations are complete. You can use these FTP ports to perform switch updates. Special network configuration note for HP Integrity servers HP Integrity servers have management network and production interfaces. These are usually kept on separate subnets in an installation. To perform full remote administration of the server, access is required for both networks. If you keep both networks isolated, you need to perform management and operating systems tasks separately. Updates for HP Integrity ilo and Superdome 2 targets require network traffic in both directions between the server running HP SUM and the target. The server running HP SUM creates a local HTTP server, which is used to server firmware binaries to the target. The target issues an HTTP request to the server running HP SUM to retries the firmware binaries during the update process. Prerequisites 11

Installation instructions Installing HP SUM from the HP SPP or HP Integrity Firmware bundles: 1. Download the HP SPP or HP Integrity Smart Update Firmware bundle. 2. If you exit HP SUM, it will download the files as scheduled. NOTE: This resolution might take a long time to download all the updates. Schedule the download to begin during a period where it will not heavily impact your network traffic. HP SUM requires more CPU resources than expected HP SUM uses more CPU resources than expected. This can cause unintended impacts. Suggested action: There is a known issue and will be resolved in a future version of HP SUM. If you use download from ftp.hp.com, HP SUM downloads updates that it has previously downloaded When you go from the Source Selections screen to the Select Targets screen, HP SUM displays a message that it is downloading updates. Suggested action: There is no action to take. HP SUM is not downloading files, it is verifying whether it has downloaded the update already or not. HP SUM only downloads the update if it has not downloaded it in the past. Editing node credentials might not cause HP SUM to re-scan the target On the Select Targets screen, editing a target s user credentials might not force HP SUM to re-scan the target. Suggested action: Select the target, and then click Enter Credentials to change the user credentials on a target. HP SUM displays a credentials option that is not valid for some target types The selection Use Local Host s Current Domain Credentials (requires an existing trust relationship with the Target) applies to Windows targets only. Suggested action: Do not select this option, enter user credentials for non-windows targets. HP SUM does not report ilo versions earlier than 1.2x as a failed dependency HP SUM sometimes does not display ilo versions earlier than 1.2x as a failed dependency, or lists the failed dependency as a Windows issue in a Linux environment. Suggested action: Update the ilo to version 1.2x, and then updating it to 1.3 before updating to 1.5x. Issues and suggested actions 13

HP SUM does not update ilo 3 from version 1.2x to 1.5x HP SUM doe snot update the ilo directly from 1.2x to 1.5x. Suggested action: Update the NIC instead of the ilo. The NIC will install the proper driver for the ilo. HP SUM cannot update some HDD targets HP SUM does not support updating HDD targets that are attached to an HP Smart Array controller running in Zero Memory mode or an HP ProLiant host bus adapter. Suggested action: Perform the updates in offline mode. HP SUM select VMware updates instead of Linux updates For some components, HP SUM does not allow you to select the Linux update, it select the VMware update automatically. Suggested action: Exit HP SUM, remove the VMware component from the repository, and then restart HP SUM. HP SUM cannot start a session on a remote server If HP SUM cannot start a session on a remote server, HP SUM is missing some dependencies. Suggested action: Exit HP SUM, download the latest HP SUM RPM from the HP SDR. For more information on installing the RPM, see Installation instructions (page 12). You cannot update an HBA firmware online HP SUM requires a minimum version of HBA firmware before you can update the HBA firmware in online mode. Suggested action: HP SUM supports updating from firmware version in online mode. Update in offline mode until you reach the minimum version for online support. HP SUM displays a Failed to transform hardware discovery results error on the Select Targets screen If HP SUM displays a Failed to transform hardware discovery results error on the Select Targets screen and cannot complete discovery of a target, the discovery.xml file might contain non ASCII characters. Suggested action: Verify that the discovery.xml file does not contain non-ascii characters. After discovery, HP SUM does not verify there is enough space to update FC switches HP SUM does not verify that there is enough space on an FC switch to apply a firmware update. Suggested action: Verify that there is enough space on the FC switch before running HP SUM. HP SUM is unable to configure components on Windows Hyper-V HP SUM will not run on Windows Hyper-V. Components must be configured from a different system and can be deployed remotely to the Hyper-V server. Hyper-V is only supported as a target server, not a deployment server. Suggestion action: No action. This is expected behavior. If you deselect a target during the discovery process, HP SUM will continue to discover the target On the Select Target screen, if you deselect a target while HP SUM is attempting to discover it, HP SUM will continue the discovery process. You cannot proceed until HP SUM finishes the discovery process. Suggestion action: No action. This is expected behavior. 14 Issues and suggested actions

On HP SUM for Windows, ilo installed firmware version will show as None, if the Channel Interface Driver is not installed When updating a system using the HP SPP, on the Select Bundle or Select Component page, the ilo firmware will show None as the installed version and Ready for Installation as the status, if the ilo Channel Interface Driver is not installed. The firmware might fail to update if it is already current. Suggested action: To view the installed version of the ilo firmware via HP SUM, install the ilo Channel Interface Driver. You cannot use HP SUM to deploy Virtual Connect (VC) firmware if one of the following conditions applies 1. If the VC is in one of the following states: Unhealthy VC module Non-redundant VC configuration Not all VC modules are part of a domain 2. If you want to: Manually choose the order of component deployment Back-up the configuration before flashing the VC firmware 3. Downgrade the VC firmware. Suggested action: Use HP Virtual Connect Support Utility (VCSU) to perform the update or downgrade. NOTE: If the VCs are managed by HP Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager (VCEM), they must first be put into maintenance mode before HP SUM can perform the VC firmware updates. After they are in maintenance or firmware mode, HP SUM and higher, and HP SPP and later, can be used to update them. After the update, put the VCs back into normal production mode. Virtual Connect (VC) update stops after discovery and installation never begins if the Onboard Administrator (OA) credentials are different from the VC credentials VC update stops after discovery and installation fails to initiate if the OA credentials are different from the VC credentials. Suggested action: Use HP SUM in GUI mode. This issue only occurs when using the command line and Input File modes for HP SUM. HP SUM on a Linux system cannot find Smart Components if they are in a directory path that contains spaces If a directory with spaces in the name is created, and a bundle is extracted to that directory, HP SUM cannot find any components when the directory is added a repository. Suggested action: Rename and remove the spaces in the directory path name. This issue does not occur if the bundle is extracted to a different directory without spaces and then copied to a directory with spaces. HP SUM does not run in command line mode without the X libraries HP SUM needs the graphics or X libraries to run from the command line. Suggested action: Install the X libraries to run HP SUM from the command line. HP SUM reports port 80 might be blocked and the target is unable to retrieve files from the HP SUM host If HP SUM cannot connect to a network target, the Installation Log will display the following: Issues and suggested actions 15

ERROR: Target was unable to retrieve firmware files from HPSUM host via HTTP. This could be due to port 80 being blocked by a firewall on HPSUM host. HP SUM tries to use ports 80 and The error only reports port 80. Suggested action: Make sure the firewall is not blocking the ports HP SUM is using. HP SUM displays the message HP SUM has stopped working after you re-analyze and install If you attempt to rewrite software or firmware, HP SUM displays the message HP SUM has stopped working. Suggested action: Exit HP SUM and restart it. HP SUM does not update Fiber Channel switch firmware and displays the message Cannot access the server. Please check whether the server name or IP address is valid If the server running HP SUM has port 21 occupied, HP SUM cannot update switch firmware for Brocade, CISCO, and QLogic switches. The switch IP address also needs to be on the same subnet as the server running HP SUM. Suggested action: Run the following commands: 1. Find out what service PID (product identification) is using port 21. Type netstat a n o, from the command line. 2. Type tasklist /svc /FI PID eq XXXX to find out which service uses the PID. 3. Close or remove the service. HP SUM does not discover a QLogic Fiber Channel switch The QLogic Fiber Channel switch has SSH service disabled by default. Suggested action: Enable SSH for the QLogic Fiber Channel switch. 1. Type QLogic4GbT #> admin start to enter Set Setup Services to manage SSH and SSL services. 2. Type QLogic4GbT (admin) #> set setup services. The system displays alist of attributes with formatting and current values. 3. Enter a new value, or press the Enter key to accept the current value. 16 Issues and suggested actions

4. If you want to terminate this process before reaching the end of the list, press q or Q and the Enter key. NOTE: You might need to do more configuration after you enable a service. If you disable a service, you might lose the connection to the switch. When you enable SSL, make sure that the date and time settings on the switch and the workstation making the SSL connection match. You might need to create a new certificate to ensure a secure connection to the switch. (y/n): [n] y When HP SUM attempts to discover a switch that is a part of Virtual Fabric Configuration, HP SUM might unexpectedly close HP SUM does not support discovering switches that are in a Virtual Fabric Configuration. Suggested action: Do not add a switches that are in a Virtual Fabric Configuration as a target. HP SUM might display the message Qt : Untested Windows version 6.2 detected! When starting HP SUM in Windows Server 2012, you might see the message Qt: Untested Windows version 6.2 detected! Suggested action: This issue occurs because HP SUM detects the version of Windows incorrectly. You can disregard the warning and continue with the installation. HP SUM might select NIC firmware components when you use the f:software parameter in CLI mode If you run HP SUM in CLI mode, and use the f:software command, HP SUM might select updated NIC firmware components as components to install. Suggested action: Open HP sum in GUI mode and go to the Component Selection or Bundle selection screen. If firmware components have been selected, de-select the firmware components before beginning the update. When using the HP SUM CLI, the command /f:software lists firmware components In CLI mode, if you use the command /f:software, HP SUM will select software and firmware for Smart Array controller, hard disc drives, power management controllers, and some NIC components. Suggested action: Use HP SUM in GUI mode. HP SUM for Windows might not update the Intel IXN driver for Windows 2012 in Hyper-V When attempting to update the Intel IXN NIC, HP SUM shows the driver as already up to date. Suggested action: Update the NIC as a standalone component. Issues and suggested actions 17

HP SUM does not display the Allow shared device tab on the Installation Options screen This feature was removed from HP SUM. Suggested action: No action. Hyperlinks do not work in the HP SUM online help If you click on any web hyperlinks in the HP SUM online help, the browser displays an error. Suggested action: This is expect behavior. Do not click on any internet hyperlinks. HP SUM does not detect HP 60/70 Modular Smart Array in offline mode HP SUM does not detect Modular Smart Array 70 in offline mode. Suggested action: Update the target using the HP 60/70 Modular Smart Array Smart Component. HP SUM exits when you click Next on the Select Targets screen HP SUM might unexpectedly exit if you click Next on the Select Target screen if a group needs credentials. Suggested action: Remove the group that shows a status of Needs credentials. HP SUM displays two ilo3 or 4 components on the Select Component or Select Bundle screen When running on a Linux host, HP SUM displays the same ilo3 or 4 component twice on the Select Component or Select Bundle screen. One version of the component is for the Linux operating systems, and the other is for the VMware ESXi operating systems. Suggested action: Select the component for the operating system you are using. GatherLogs is unable to find any files If the GatherLogs application is in a directory that includes spaces, it will be unable to locate any logs. Suggested action: Make sure there are no spaces in the file directories. ACU upgrade fails when attempting to update using HP SPP If you updated the ACU with HP SPP and update it with HP SPP , then the update does not happen. Suggested action: After HP SUM displays the error, re-analyze the target, and then run the update. HP SUM requires you to enter target and repository information when you log in using a regular user account on a Linux system If you log in with a Linux user account that does not have root privileges, HP SUM does not store the targets between sessions. To store target information between sessions, you need to log into the host system with root credentials. Suggested action: To work around this issue, log in with an account that has root credentials. Logging in with an account that does not have root privileges makes you add repository and target details. vcenter becomes unresponsive when you are using HP SUM HP SUM and vcenter both use network port 443. HP SUM does not use an alternate port when it discovers that vcenter is using port 443. Suggested action: If you are using vcenter, manually edit the hpsum.ini file and change the default network port from 443 to another network port. For more information about network ports, see Network ports used by HP SUM (page 10). HP SUM does not upgrade ilo 3 firmware from 1.2x to 1.5x This occurs because firmware 1.2x is unable to process the file size of ilo 3 firmware 1.5x components. 18 Issues and suggested actions

Suggested action: Update to ilo 3 firmware to 1.3x or 1.4x before updating to 1.5x. HP SUM displays login credentials twice when you enter credentials for OAs when they are Associated Targets On the Select Targets screen, if HP SUM discovers an OA as an Associated Target, it prompts you for user credentials before you can apply updates. When you click the hyperlink to enter credentials, the screen displays the Enter Username and Password button twice. Suggested action: This is a known issue, click the top radio button and continue entering credentials. HP ProLiant issues HP SUM for Linux might not list the HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 530FLR-SFP+/ 530FLB/530M NIC firmware until the driver is installed and the Ethernet ports are enabled HP SUM will not discover Broadcom NIC firmware physically attached to the server unless the drivers are installed and all the NICs Ethernet ports are open. Suggested action: To update the firmware for Broadcom NICs in Linux, use the following steps: 1. Install the bnx2x driver found in the HP SPP package, the SDR, or the Linux distribution. 2. Enable all the Ethernet ports. 3. Run the Broadcom firmware upgrade component. HP SUM displays Installation not needed for HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Driver version for Windows Server 2008 When using HP SUM version to install software, the HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Driver version for Windows Server 2008 is listed as Installation not needed. This driver is required to upgrade the media driver, which is the in-box driver that ships with the operating system, to use the full Smart Array functionality. Suggested action: Ensure that there are no inactive driver files for a device present in c:\windows\ system32\drivers folder after a new operating system installation. As a workaround, run the driver component (hpciss2) independent of HP SUM. HP SUM might pull inapplicable components from the web for certain HP ProLiant platforms after an installation After installing and rebooting the server, if you use HP SUM to download the latest components from the HP FTP site, HP SUM might pull some inapplicable components. If HP SUM installs the inapplicable components, HP SUM displays the error Update returned an error. Suggested action: On the Select Components screen, do not choose the updates that do not apply to your environment. The installation will proceed normally. HP SUM might show a status for HP ProLiant Dynamic Smart Array RAID controller driver for Windows 2008 x64 as Not Updated Already Current after performing an installation. HP SUM does not install HP ProLiant Dynamic Smart Array RAID controller driver for Windows 2008 x64. Suggested action: If HP SUM displays this error, try to install the component as a stand-alone component. HP SUM for Linux might take longer than 30 minutes to build RPMs on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Due to the amount of source RPMs that need to build and the build time of each, the build process might take longer than 30 minutes. Suggested action: For more information about resolving this issue, see the Customer Advisory c on the HP support website at Document.jsp?objectID=c Issues and suggested actions 19

HP SUM does not generate reports on HP ProLiant BL620c G7 servers running Windows Server 2003 after installing Microsoft hotfix KB There is an issue with HP SUM accessing the WMI namespaces after installing Microsoft hotfix KB Suggested action: Run the following script to resolve the issue: 1.
