2 STEP SET UP LOCAL VIEWING ON YOUR PC SECOND Insert the network video CD software into the computer s CD ROM drive. Select LOREX IP Edit Program option and follow instructions from the dialog boxes to guide you through installation. Double click on the item listed under Monitor Lists to automaically set local viewing settings. NOTE: Click here to automatically set viewing settings Record the digit IP and the digit MAC Addresses IP ADDRESS :... (record the period. It is part of the IP Address) MAC ADDRESS : (DO NOT record the colorn (:)) NOTE: Active X must be enabled to set up the system. If it is already set up proceed to Step 6, otherwise continue to Step 5. 5 (a) Enable Active X. To do this, open your web browser to enable Active X. NOTE: Click Tools and select Internet Options 5 (b) Second, click the settings button in the temporary internet file option and check Automatically followed by OK. Close the Settings Window. 4 STEP SET UP INTERNET REMOTE MONITORING THIRD Port Forward your Router FIRST before proceeding with the Set-up (you must Port Forward Port 80). Enter ddns.strategicvista. net in the address bar. All routers are different. To Port Forward your Router: Refer to your Router s manual for specific instructions on port forwarding (or) Check the Router configuration guide support document in the consumer guide section on our website aspx?aid= and select Router Configuration Guide Click Create Account option Complete new account information. FOR PRODUCT LICENSE select the SG5F658 option from the drop down menu.. FOR PRODUCT CODE enter your computer s MAC address (recorded in step, section ). Create Account. FOR URL REQUEST enter a unique URL name (eg. Johndoe). Note: An URL name should not be more than 8 characters. 5 An Automated Registration Confirmation will be sent to your . Print and Save this Registration Confirmation. UserName: Enter the user name from your confirmation of registration . Password: <leave blank>. DomainName: Enter the domain name from your confirmation of registration Make sure the interval is set to 5 minutes 6. Click Submit NOTE: Please allow 5 minutes for your entries to be registered. 0 Open your Web Browser and enter your Domain Name to view the picture remotely NOTE: Enter your Domain Name (i.e john.strategicvista. net) to View Picture.
