2 drapro Installation (Standalone) This section provides instruction for installing, drapro Firstly go to Then download the free trial from the Free Download Side Menu Once the download has completed Run the.exe The install wizard will now take you through a number of dialog boxes to install drapro. The Welcome dialogue box should appear on the screen, warning you of the copyright laws Choose the Next button to continue after reading the first dialog box. drapro2016 5

3 The next dialogue box is the Licensing Agreement. Once you are satisfied with the information provided you choose the Next button. Enter User Information. Here you will have defaults provided, the software has picked up some default data from the PC, you may change these details to suit the operator s details. Once you are satisfied, select the Next button Serial Number: In the situation where you do not have a serial number. You can enter the trial version Serial number of: drapro2016 6

4 Thirty Day Trial This section provides instruction for running drapro 2016 for a trial period of Thirty (30) Days. To Run drapro2016 select the Icon and Run from either the Windows Desktop, or through the Windows Taskbar Start > All Programs > drapro2016. DraPRO license Wizard Begin. First time running drapro will invoke the begin dialogue box. At the top of the dialog states the Time you have to authorise drapro, i.e. 30 days of trial for new installation. To start the thirty (30) Days drapro trial select the License drapro Later Button then choose Next. DraPRO should start as normal with all installed product feature accessible. To continue running the drapro product on trial keep selecting the license drapro later every time this dialog appears, until you would like to authorise the product or until the trial runs out. drapro2016 7

5 License the drapro Product This section provides instruction for Registering and Licensing drapro2016 Run drapro2016 from the Icon on your Windows Desktop, or through the Windows Taskbar Start > All Programs > drapro2016. Registering drapro. To register drapro or to obtain a License Key/Number from your drapro dealer the following steps are necessary. Application Key This is a required field, to continue registering drapro, First open AutoCAD with the version of drapro you have installed. Then type into the command line DP_Appkey and press enter. You should then receive the following Dialog: drapro2016 8

6 Copy down this information from the dialog box. Then contact the drapro service team through one of the ways below. Once the service team has received your information they will send back a.fas and.rgs file to you through . Once you have received these files place them in your C: // Drive> Program Files> dra systems. Once this step is completed drapro should be fully licensed. If you are unsure whether your drapro is licensed after completing these steps. You can check by going into the drapro base pull down menu at the top of the screen on AutoCAD. drapro2016 9

7 Then click on the license info tab. If your drapro is not licensed the following message will appear: However if drapro is licensed this message will not appear. drapro

8 Starting drapro All applications are run from inside AutoCAD using The Application Loader as the loading tool. To Start drapro Start AutoCAD/draPRO by selecting from the Windows Taskbar Start > Programs > drapro2016. or Choose the drapro2016 shortcut on your Desktop. AutoCAD will start and load The Application Loader. The Application Loader will load the drapro services specified as part of the Autoload function. (Refer to The Application Loader Users Guide for details of Autoload). By default only drapro Base is loaded automatically. To load a service, use the drapro application toolbar. BASE HYDRALIC DESIGN ELECTRICAL DESIGN FIRE DESIGN MELBOURNE SHOP WORKSHOP MECHANICAL DESIGN Select the service you wish to use (load), from the drapro application toolbar above. The fly-out toolbar for the selected service will be displayed below the application toolbar (or in the last position you moved it to), replacing any previously selected service from the toolbar. drapro

9 The selected service is now loaded and ready to use. Once a service has been loaded the pull down menu for that service is also available. From the pull down menu you can select drapro commands, display specific toolbars, or set the service tablet menu to be the current. Any drapro services loaded when you save the drawing will automatically get loaded the next time you open the drawing. If you don t want a service to load automatically use the Load or Unload (DPQ_EXECUTE) command from The Application Loader toolbar to unload it before you exit (and save) the drawing. Load and Unload Of course you can still use the Load or Unload command to load any drapro service instead of using the drapro application toolbar. drapro

10 AutoSYS Full Drawing Layout Page Setup As stated above in the previous part of this chapter once AutoCAD2016 has run up, the drapro Drawing setup dialog will open. For the First time through select the OK Button, this is to assure the product will configure correctly. For more information on the AUTOSYS full drawing - layout refer to the training manual. drapro
