3 Displaying changed parameters by using the Expert list function 1 Displaying changed parameters by using the Expert list function Introduction An explanation is given in the following text as to how you can create a list of parameters that have been changed using the STARTER commissioning software. An explanation is also given how you can save this list in the project. In the example, a few parameters have been changed and compared with the factory setting of the frequency inverter (here, MM440). NOTE In this FAQ we used Starter Version STARTER V The screenshots and procedure could be different to previous versions. 1 create the Expert list (list with changed parameters) The list with parameters that have been changed can be created using the "Expert list" function (Figure 1-1). File 1 is your frequency inverter, this is automatically selected. File 2 is the comparison file. In the example MICROMASTER_440_factory setting (It is also possible to make a comparison with another frequency inverter). As already described, parameters that have been changed or customer-specific parameter lists can be printed-out using the Expert list. Attached you'll find a list that contains all of the relevant "Safety parameters". If you now compare the parameterization (parameter assignment) of your system or machine against this list then you'll obtain all of the parameters that have been changed in your particular system or machine. 1 Procedure for STARTER Version <V4.2 To start, copy the attached list into a directory that you select. Create a user-defined list from your frequency inverter in the Expert list (Figure 2-1) Figure 2-1 In a next step, open the "SafetyLIST" (Figure 2-2). 9 Creating an acceptance protocol for a Safety freuquency inverter using STARTER 2 Procedure for STARTER Version V4.2 As of V4.2, SCOUT and STARTER contains a template for creating a safety acceptance report. Creating an acceptance report (Figure 2-3) In the project navigator in the folder Documentation, you can automatically create acceptance documentation by executing a script (e.g. a safety acceptance report). Objects can be deleted from the project navigator via Delete in the context menu. 4 Storage structure The templates and scripts are in the SCOUT/STARTER installation folder: <SIEMENS installation folder>\step7\u7umc\data\scripts\ <SIEMENS installation folder>\step7\u7umc\data\templates\ Created documents and acceptance reports are in the project folder: <Project folder>\<project name>\documentation\ General behavior NOTE The contents of the Documentation folder are not taken into account during an export or import. The entire project folder is taken into account when archiving and dearchiving. The contents of the Documentation folder are therefore also transported. You can fill your own templates with data from the drive using a script. To do this, you must store the data in the installation folder.
