3 1 Foreword This document explains login procedures of Optimal Global Procurement System (KG-Pro). 2 Preparation for using KG-Pro Hardware / Software that satisfy the following requirements are necessary for using KG-Pro. 2.1 Hardware (1) PC A computer is required to view / register data. * PC must satisfy specifications required by software prescribed in 2.2 Software. (2) Communication line Internet or KUBOTA exclusive network is necessary. * As for internet, KUBOTA recommends broadband circuit such as optical line or ADSL line. 2.2 Software (1) Operating system [Windows Vista / 7] (2) Browser [Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0 / 11.0] (32bit version only) In case of windowsvista, please use ver9 In case of windows7, please use ver11 (3) Microsoft Excel Excel is required to view download data. [Microsoft Office 2003 or newer] (4) Adobe Reader Adobe Reader is required to view download PDF data. [Acrobat7 or newer] (5) Security software [SSL-VPN] (Mandatory for users connecting via internet) [Anti-virus software] 2

4 2.3 User ID Submission of application sheet is required to apply for User ID. * As for this time, User ID is issued by KUBOTA according to previously submitted information. (Please apply to buyer in charge.) Please use latest application form. (See application form (Supplier) on KG-Pro.) 2.4 Required items for using KG-Pro 1 When users transfer department or retire the company, please inform us to delete user ID of KG-Pro to KG-PRO office. 2 For using KG-PRO, you need to use your company-owned PC with anti-virus countermeasure. You don t have to use your personal devices. 3

5 2.5 Check IE version For using SSL-VPN, browser of 32 bit version (which means IE) is needed. Please check your IE to be 32 bit version and then start IE 32 bit version case of Internet Explorer How to check IE version 1 Click help on the browser version 2 Please check the right side of version information of IE. If you see 64-bit Edition, go to the step If you see nothing, it is 32-bit edition. It s no problem. Go to the step

6 How to start IE 32 bit version 1 Click start program Internet Explorer, then you can start IE 32-bit edition case of Internet Explorer How to check IE version 1Click Tools on the browser Internet Options. 5

7 2Click the Advanced tab, and then click the OK with a check to enable the extended protection mode in the setting. (By is checked, it will be the 32-bit version) If it is not checked, you can check Click the "OK", to exit the Internet Explorer 11, restart the computer. (Restart the computer always) If "to enable the Extended Protection mode" is not displayed, because of the 32-bit version, no problem 6

8 2.6 Install software In order to use SSL-VPN, installation of the software (BIG-IP Edge Client) is required by the steps as below. Note) it s necessary to login by the administrator for installation of the software Download software 1 If you input on the browser and press Enter, you can see SSL-VPN login screen. Please click the from here at the right side of who is first connected. 2 Select SSL-VPN setting. 7

9 3 Select Save as(a). 4 Click Save button and save it on the desktop folder. 5 In spite of the caution as below, the download would be completed. 8

10 2.6.2 Unzip from the download File 1 Select the downloaded file on the desktop. 2 Click Run(R) button 3 Click Expansion (E) button. 4 Click sslvpn_setting folder on the desktop. 5 You can find install files and configure files in this folder. 9

11 2.6.3 Install the BIG-IP edge client 1 Click BIGIEdgeClient.exe. 2 Click Run(R) button. 3 Click Next > button. 10

12 4 Click the install button. 5 Click Yes(Y) button. 6 Click Finish button. Then you finish the installation. 11

13 2.6.4 Setting of trusted sites 1 Click the IESetting.bat (please refer to the unzipped folder in the step 2.6.2) 2 Press any button to complete the setting Delete downloaded and unzipped files Installation of the software is completed. Please delete the install files and folders on your desktop. 12

14 2.6.6 Shutdown IE for activation Close all IE to validate the installed software and trusted sites. 1 Click x in the upper right corner. 2 Click the Close other tabs(t) button. 13

15 2.7 Browser (IE) environment setup Browser (Internet Explorer) setup is required for using Optimal Global Procurement System. Set up Internet Explore Pop-up Block setup 1 Click start all the programs Internet Explorer (the same as the step ) 2 Click "Tools" ==> "Internet Options". 14

16 3 Click "Privacy" and click "Settings" of "Pop-up Blocker". 4 Enter "*.kubota.co.jp" on "Address of website to allow", then click "Add". 15

17 5 Make sure that "*.kubota.co.jp" has been added on "Allowed sites". 6 Click "Close (C)", then setup is completed. 16

18 2.7.2 Security level setup 1 Click "Start" ==> "Internet Explorer" or click "Internet Explorer" icon on desktop. the same as the step Click "Tools" ==> "Internet Options". the same as the step Click security internet Custom level(c). 4 Select "Scripting" ==> "Active Scripting" ==> "Enable". (It is OK if "Enable" is already selected.) 17

19 5 Select "Downloads" ==> "File Download" ==> "Enable". (It is OK if "Enable" is already selected.) 6 Select "Downloads" ==> "Automatic prompting for file downloads" ==> "Enable". (It is OK if "Enable" is already selected.) 18

20 7 Click "OK", then setup is completed. 19

21 3 Login procedures 3.1 KG-Pro URL There are 2 types of URL, depending on communication line. 1 Internet (via SSL-VPN) for suppliers *The URL for connecting internet has been renewed. If you registered old URL in Favorite or create shortcut, you need to create for new URL. If you want to add new URL in your Favorite, please follow the manual as below. (a) Click the Add to Favorites. (b) Click the Add button. (c) The new URL added in your Favorites. 20

22 3.2 Login Internet (via SSL-VPN) 1 When you access the URL on your browser, you can see SSL-VPN login screen. Then you input your ID and pass and click Logon button. 2 You can see inputting screen of one-time password when additional certification is required. Enter your ID and one-time password which is sent by and click the logon on the requirement page. *Additional certification is systematically required for the user verification when you log in the KG-pro first time or you use the PC first time. *When the additional certification is not required, go to 3. *One-time password is sent to the registered address as below. You have to inform your buyer when you change your address. Subject: One-time password notification == Kubota == KG-Pro 21

23 3 After the certification, select the KG-pro on this screen as below. And go to 6. *You need to change password when you access tis screen first time. Click Password Change and go to 4. 4 Enter your current password and new password into the change password screen, and click the change now button. 5 After the password changed, click x on the change password screen and go back to the (3). 22

24 6 Please wait until the next page comes out.. 7 If KG-Pro Information screen appears, you have successfully login. 23

25 3.2.2 KUBOTA exclusive network 1 After inputting the URL on your current browser, and input your ID and password, and then click Logon button. 2 If KG-Pro Information screen appears, you have successfully login. 24
