1 Issue: Wi Fi will not connect after Windows 10 update. Dec. 28, 2017 Cause: Microsoft advises that during the current Windows 10 update, if your PC gets stuck or if power is interrupted, you may be asked to continue or start over. If chose continue, your Network Adapter can be corrupted. Solution: Update Network Adapter. In Single Band wi fi units, a file patch is required for Network Adapter before updating the driver. VERY IMPORTANT Determine if your unit is single band or dual band wi fi. Check the model number on the bottom of the keyboard with the models listed here. Then follow only the corresponding procedure outlined in this notice. Single Band Wi Fi Models: W1001PB43FS, W1001PS43FS Dual Band Wi Fi Models: W1001PB43FD, W1001PS43FD, W1001PB46FD, W1001PS46FD, W1001PB41FD, W1001PS41FD, W1102PB46FD, W1102PS46FD Solution procedure: Notice no. NOTE: In this procedure, we will copy a patch for the Network Adapter driver and place it into your Core+ PC, then we will update the driver in the Core+ to allow it to perform correctly. You will need a USB Thumb Drive to store and deliver the required patch to your Core+ PC. 1. Using another PC, download the required patch to a USB thumb drive from Bit s e site usi g this li k: Then select Wifi Pat h for W PS FS a d W PB FS. The file will download. 1

2 Notice no. Dec. 28, Click here to download. Then click the download file to open the patch. Then copy and paste to a USB thumb drive. If you are not using Windows 10 to obtain the patch file, simply click the link then copy the zip file to the USB thumb drive then to the Core+ Desktop. Then extract the files in the Desktop of the Core+. 3. Connect the USB thumb drive to your Core+ PC using the USB adapter cable that was supplied, then copy and paste the patch folder AP6 to the Desktop of the Core+ PC. 2

If not, select the Bro se tab, highlight the AP6212 folder then select Ne t. Note: here is image showing correct the path to the file when selecting Bro se. This PC\Desktop\AP6212. Be sure to select Desktop which is under This PC. 14. When driver successfully finishes installing, restart PC. 15. After restart, open wi fi, select and sign into your desired network. 12

Then a new window opens entitled Bro se for drivers on our o puter then choose Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my o puter then select Ne t. 17

A progress bar will appear while the driver is re-installed. 9. When complete, a message appears Wi do s has successfully installed our dri ers. Now select Close to close the window. 10. Restart your PC. 11. After restart, open wi fi and be sure it is turned on, then connect to your desired network.
