19 HOMEGROUP (continued) This means that after April 2018, "homegroup file sharing" can only be used for sharing files between "Windows 7" and "Windows 8.1" computers, since the version 1803 mandatory upgrade to "Windows 10.." will turn off the "HomeGroup" feature for "Windows 10.." computers. 19

If you run both "Server Message Block" file sharing and "HomeGroup" file sharing in the same Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, you will get some strange and unpredictable effects: Sometimes the entire C:\Users folder is shared to others!!! 35
