3 Vimar user license contract VIMAR SpA with head offices in Marostica VI, Viale Vicenza n. 14, sole proprietor of the software denominated EVCom, with the present contract concedes a license for the use of the said software. VIMAR SpA declines all liability for any damages arising from improper use of the software contained in the CD, in particular for direct or indirect injury to persons or animals and damage to property as regards financial losses resulting from the use of the software. VIMAR SpA reserves the right to modify and improve the said software at any time without advance notification. Any modification, translation, adaptation and creation of applications based on the EVCom software without the express written authorisation of VIMAR SpA is prohibited.

At the end it is possible to open the database file. 1.2 WRITE Database to Entrance panel/ video interface Write an existing database to the entrance panel/ 2016 from a file. 1.3 Monitor, speakers and landing pushbuttons configuration It finds the already configured devices connected to the bus. Devices must have at least the physical address already configured. It opens a new configuration window with all device s parameters. 3
8 Main Menù 1.4 COM port settings Select the right COM port setting. The test button is used to verify that the interface is connected to an entrance panel or in any way to check if the COM port is the correct one in case your PC of multiple serial ports. It is better to use the same USB port to be forced to change every time the setting SaveProg or other programs that use the same serial. 1.5 Load a device with default parameters Create a database with default parameters. Later on an Entrance panel must be set. 4

Enabled only after a valid loaded database. 1.9 Print device window Print out database with parameter updated. Enabled only after a valid loaded database 1.11 Copy all device parameters on notepad Copy all device parameters on Windows notepad. Could be dangerous! 1.15 Exit from EVCom Exit from EVCom sw ENTRANCE PANEL DATABASE IMPORT AND PARAMETERS SETTINGS To import data from a entrance panel these steps: 1) Connect the PC interface into the entrance panel socket and start EVCom SW, select the active COM port. 2) Import the database using the button. Before importing the new data, EVCom sw asks where to save the file you are importing. 3) After the transfer of data (shown by a special bar) the software asks if you want to open the file you just imported, confirm with Yes. 6
11 02010 The main window is active to make changes / configurations in the various menus below: Menu generale. Allows adjustment of the main settings as: - Entrance panel ID assignment - Times adjustment (answer, conversation, self switching on) - Volumes adjustment (external, internal, call sounds) 7
12 02010 Calls numbers remapping Allows to change the called ID from external plate. Normally associations made into the manual configuration do not require this type of changing. Example: the data programmed into the picture provides key 3 on the plate calls the device with ID 12. 8
13 02010 Self switching-on sequence The menu allows you to define the self switching-on order of entrance panels or audio / video present, following the command of the various monitors in the system. Example: monitor with ID 4 switch on video cameras in the order of the panels (or 02016) ID 2 and 1, while the monitor with ID 2 switch on only panel (or 02016) with ID 1 sequentially 1) Save modifications with key. 2) Download all the modification with Write database 9
14 VIDEO INTERFACE DATABASE IMPORT AND PARAMETERS SETTINGS To import data from video interface device follow the steps: 1) Connect the PC interface into the terminal of the audio / video interface and select the right COM port. 2) Import database with key; before the procedure start, select a filename. 3) At the end of data transmission, software ask to open the file. Choose Yes. Now main window is active to make changes / configurations in the various menus below: 10
15 02016 Main menu Allows the settings of many parameters: - Entrance panel ID Set this value to turn on the cameras connected to device following a command from the self-switching on coming from monitors - Device ID Set this value device ID in case you want to self switching on a camera through an intercom call from the video to Times (self-switching, conversation) - Self activation O.D.C. To set the 20577/14577 ID in case of, trought a intercom call, activate a camera associate to the device. 11
16 Camera number It s compulsory to set the total camera number connected to F1, F2 Parameters related to F1 and F2 commands of Input Audio Power To enable the audio channel linked to the camera (if a camera with microphone is used) together with the camera video input. Camera for call To associate a particular camera power-on in conjunction with a call coming from a device types 20577/14577 (appropriately set for video call, Jumper in Video!). Eg. in the picture you see that the device ID 3 (a button 20577/14577) when activated, turns on camera 1 of the
17 02016 Self activation sequence This menu allows to define the cameras (connected to and 02017) power-on order with the command lock (scrolling), when you have the already activated by a self switching on function. Eg. in the picture: device with ID4 power on in order: camera n 2, n 1 by pressing the lock key. 1) Save all modifications with save key. 2) Download on the device the modifications with write database key. 13
18 Speakers/video door monitor parameter settings 4. SPEAKERS/ VIDEO DOOR MONITOR PARAMETER SETTINGS With the interface connected and EVCom sw running click on monitor parameters settings page. to open the Speakers and video door This page is empty (if never used before), otherwise will be connected to an existing database previously saved. To create a new devices database, select the Import devices key create new database and save it. Now you can proceed to import data from devices configured in the system using the key read data from all real devices. The window shows the different ways of importing devices. The most useful are: - All: no need to know the ID of the connected devices, but the software will take a long time to import, due the scanning of all the 200 addresses available. - Custom (recommended): In this case you can indicate in the grid, only the IDs of devices programmed with significant time savings NOTE: To know the device ID see chapter 5 Bus monitor. (picture): customized import of just devices with ID 2, 3 and 4. 14
19 Speakers and video door parameters modification Once imported you can view and adjust all devices parameters of downloaded ones through selection buttons and. Speakers/video door monitor parameter settings For each device appears a window with all parameters and the product code with its picture and firmware version installed. Monitor 01963/01955/01956 parameters F1-8 Monitor ON LED green F1/F2 1-8 Switchboard Enabling monitor power on during the call (if more than one monitor with the same call) Enable the green LED on the monitor as auxiliary signalization If enabled, limit a selection of the functions F1 and F2 only of plates with ID less than 8. If not selected, enable these functions selection plates with ID 9 to 15 Enabling switchboard call (handsfree key + key lock) F9-F16 G3 Ext. Only If enabled only external call on devices of group 3, if unchecked when taken in Group 3 devices receive calls both internal and external. G4 Int. Only If enabled only external call on devices of group 3, if unchecked when taken in Group 3 devices receive calls both internal and external. Do not beep No RIPCH IC Disability sound of keys sent in some functions. Disable the command to extra bell (if any) during an internal call. G1 Only Ext. Aut.Answer F25 O.D.C group When selected, the intercom calls do not ring the monitor / intercom When selected, the calls by external plate do not play the monitor / intercom When selected, the lock button pressed in conversation ends the call. When selected, the button talk / listen functions On / Off (bistable mode). The first press activates the audio, the second end the conversation. When selected, the monitor self switching on (square) works as a second function key. It has priority over 2nd function selector behind the module. If select it means Vimar Home automation system is present. When selected, (video) headgrpoup,without ringing enabled, will send to the external plate the command to let the others group monitors to ring. Will be not possible to answer pushing talk button. When selected, intercom conversations do not have a fixed maximum duration. When selected, device automatically answers to external calls immediately after the last ring When selected activate all group devices of a call coming from a interface 6120 (2 pushbutton interface for e.g. stairs and lock) MONITOR PUSHBUTTONS (additional functions) It 's possible to change the default function of the individual keys from P0 to P8 according to customer requirements. Usually these settings are modified if any of intercom calls in the system or specific auxiliary functions are needed. In the following example, key P3 calls device n 6 and key P7 calls device n 9. 16
21 Speakers/video door monitor parameter settings GROUPS This menu allows to create group calls where there is a parent with up to three monitors / intercoms secondary during a call ring simultaneously. Just in these secondary devices is necessary to define the group (G1, G2, G3, G4) and ID of the main monitor / intercom. In the picture there is a with ID1 belonging to the G1 group call with the main device with ID 4. OUTDOOR CALLS Allows any combination of landing pushbuttons 20577, (max 4) to a monitor or intercom. This association is essential for the proper functionality of the lock button on board the loudspeaker when a call and send command to lock monitor / intercom call. 17

23 Speakers/video door monitor parameter settings The main parameters are the same monitors reported 01963/01955/ The buttons from P4 to P8 can be used only if any of the traditional type NO external controls connected into the terminal on the intercom. Outdoor landing pushbutton 20577/14577 parameters The product has three settings: - Buttons: indicates the ID of the monitor or intercom to be called by pressing the front pushbutton - Lock activation time: set the activation time of the on board lock (the lock command works only if the call was made from the same button). - Outdoor Ringing tone: If enabled, the call can be heard through the speaker button. If you want to change a parameter, proceed as follows: 1. Select the item concerned by checking "Sel" 2. Set or change the desired function. 3. Download the change in device 19
24 Bus monitor 4. Save. 5. BUS MONITOR This feature allows to analyze the different commands sent on the bus by all devices configured in the system. Besides having a diagnostic function Bus Monitor is very useful for identifying the ID of configured devices in any system where you do not know the configuration made. Through the ID you can import multiple devices and vary the parameters as described in the previous Chapters. To operate the bus monitor must be connected to a entrance plate or a selector audio video and select the appropriate button "Show / Hide the log of communication. In the black screen, will display all messages sent on the bus: just press a key in any device (es. lock, stair light, etc..) to see the ID of who sends and receives or handles the message sent. 20
