2 Start a Class: 8 Taps Let s begin: First, please grab the Heart Zones Bridge Push #1: Push and hold the On/Off button until the red light flashes twice and is shortly followed by flashing green blinks. Your Bridge is powered on for Wi-Fi mode. Red Light Tap 1: Select the ipad Settings app. 1 Green Light Tap 2: Open the list of Wi-Fi networks. On/Off Button For Stand Alone Mode Push #2: To enter Standalone mode push the On/Off button a second time. Look at the front of the Bridge for a single blinking green light every second to confirm you re in Stand Alone mode. See the Set Up Guide for how to configure to the Wi-Fi network. Tap 3: Select the network name that was configured for WiFi mode. For Stand Alone mode choose the network that starts with either WASP or WA Tap 4: Push the Home button. Tap the Heart Zones PE app. "2

3 Tap 5: Tap on your Class name. Tap 6: Tap the play icon to view the categories and class types. 5 6 Tap 7: Tap Start Session to start the timer. Tap 8: Tap OK if everything in the blue ribbon appears correct

4 Run a Class Status Display Area: Check your WiFi, Class, and Shared Sensors To view the status display tap the sub-menu icon in the lower left corner: Sub-Menu Status Display Area Use the display menu at the begining of class to determine that you are connected to the correct WiFi and shared sensors in case of troubleshooting things like data not showing up on the screen. Flip Tiles: Screen Tap or Blink 3.0 Push After starting your session you will see multiple on screen tiles. Tiles can be flipped to show different data points. Use your finger and tap any on-screen tile to flip it. Alternatively, you can flip all of the tiles at once using the flip tile button at the bottom of the Big Board Display: Remove Absent Participants: Swipe Tile If you have a Big Board Display screen up with the timer running and you notice someone has left, or is absent from a planned class, then you can remove them from the screen without removing them from the class list or restarting the timer by swiping your finger from side to side on their tile. A Blue ribbon wil appear, hit OK. View Individual Participant: Double Tap the Desired Participant Tile If you have a Big Board Display screen up and you want to focus in on an individual in the class to look at their data on the ipad only or access their user profile for edits you can do so quickly by double tapping their tile to bring up the following screen: If you are using the Blink 3.0 heart rate monitor you have the unique ability to flip the on-screen tiles using the power button on the Blink. Simply push and release the button to flip tiles. The timing on this can be finnicky, if you don t get it the first time keep trying. Tap this icon to access the participant s profile Tap this icon to project this individual s screen for everyone to see on your projector or TV 4

5 Stop a Class Stop Class: Control Panel and Post- Class Ribbons To stop your current session hit the icon in the lower left corner to bring up the Session Control Panel: Push the square stop icon then follow the sequence of ribbon prompts: Reports: Class Summary and Individual reports The Heart Zones PE app saves data at the end of your sessions in the reports menu where they can be viewed and exported. There are two types of reports saved a class summary report, and individual reports for each participant, listed respectively: You must hit yes on the report generator to save your session data in the Reports Menu generator will send an individual report to every participant in class that has their address entered into their user profile: 5
