3 Search by name Click on drop down button of the first name Select Name Enter last name, space and first 2-3 letters Icons on each study line in the list of studies done. - View Order button this button will launch a viewer for the order information - View Study with iconnect Access button this button will launch the image viewer. - View Report button this button will launch a report viewer from which you can view the report and print the report. - Grant Access button this button will launch a dialog box to enable you to grant other providers access to the study. Note: provider must have access to this web portal. Page 3 of 7

4 Viewer in Amicas Reach Quick Reference There is a new viewer in Amicas Reach which you will find more responsive than the previous viewer. You still access Amicas Reach the usual way and you will see the new icon to the right of the view study icon and when you mouse over it (place the cursor over it) a description will appear saying View Study with iconnect Access. See below. Do not use the old viewer. Old Viewer New Viewer Click on this icon and the iconnect viewer will launch. Mouse controls default Left button window and level control (density and contrast) to adjust the image, click on the button and hold it down and drag (move the mouse) to adjust the density to desired setting. Scroll wheel (middle button) zoom control press on the wheel and drag the mouse while holding it down, away from you to zoom in (larger) and towards you to zoom out (smaller). Right button pan (move the image) control press on the right button and drag the mouse while holding it down and move the image to desired position. To reset the image back to its original display, click on the reset button in the tool bar at the top. In the User Preference you can setup your own controls for the mouse button if you prefer. To do this, click on the User Preference button in the tool bar at the top. Page 4 of 7

5 Commonly used functions Here are some of the more commonly used functions (buttons) in the tool bar at the top: > Global Stack - Mouse over the cine button and a drop down will appear with the Global Stack button. The Global Stack function (most useful when viewing diagnostic studies) will enable you to scroll through all the images so you don t have to drag each image down to the view port. This will enable the Global Stacking only in the view port you are in. If you change to a different view port, you will need to click on the button again. > Scroll Tool This function is useful when viewing studies with series of images like CT, MRI or Ultrasound. Mouse over the All in One Tool button and a drop down will appear with the Scroll Tool button. The Scroll Tool will enable you to quickly scroll through the images in a series when you hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse up or down. > Full Screen This function will change your screen to full screen, the tool bar and thumb nail images will disappear enabling the images to fill your screen. Mouse over the Reset button and a drop down will appear with the Full Screen button. To get to the tool bar from full screen, click on the Show Menus tab at the top, above the image on the far right. It is superimposed over the date and time in the corner. Note: when you select a button from the drop down, that selected button will replace the current button in the tool bar. Those buttons will remain showing until you close the study and when you open another study, the tool bar will revert to the default buttons. Default Tool Bar Help This button will launch a Help document (User Manual) you can use to help you navigate through the viewer. Close This button will close the viewer and return you to the study list. History tab You can launch any prior studies on a patient that you are currently reviewing in the viewer by clicking on the History tab (see above) which will open a screen showing all of the patient s prior studies done at our facilities. You can click on any study and the report will appear on the right of the screen. By double clicking on the study, you will launch that study beside the currently Page 5 of 7

6 opened study in the viewer. You may launch multiple studies but keep in mind that each time you open another study, it will take up space in the viewer and you images will get smaller. Prior studies Report for selected study on left History screen Close study button You can close the studies that you have launched in addition to the original study by clicking on the tiny x in the blue circle in the upper right corner of the study (see above). To close the original study, click on the Close button. If you want to view one of the images full screen, single image on the monitor, double click on the image, this will only show that image you double clicked on. To go back to the original view, double click on it again. Page 6 of 7
