Continued education and outreach efforts are needed to ensure uniform knowledge of how climate hazards impact critical infrastructure over the long term.

29 Realizations and Observations Resiliency is not new to the Charleston region; we have a foundation to build upon Hugo was our wake-up call The Charleston region has benefitted from the work of many institutions and organizations on resiliency issues; we need to continue to take advantage of the multitude of resources that are at our disposal The science (e.g., of flooding ) and information (e.g., design standards) we use in decision-making must be refined and applied at appropriate time & spatial scales We must think a bit further into the future when making decisions; and decisions we make should be made with a bit more caution than in the past Charleston Resilience Network
