6 Map Interface Legend provides categorical and break values of the data. It can be collapsed by clicking the yellow header Toggle on and explore pertinent information through various datasets and indicators 6

7 Map Interface Returns map to default extent Find my location uses the devices IP Address to zoom to current location Toggle between basemaps to view data with different contextual information Print the viewing extent Note: For printing functionality, pop-ups must not be disabled. To use Find My Location tool, user must select Allow to use computers location 7

15 Enter Site Information Manually: Step 1-1 Site Name and Site ID serve as unique identifiers for site added Choose Operation Type from the dropdown list Fields marked with a * symbol are required and must be filled in to add a site to the map 15

16 Enter Site Information Manually: Step 1-2 To locate a site using the map as a reference, use the Click Map button If the latitude and longitude is known, use the Latitude/Longitude button Note: Entering Latitude/Longitude coordinates must be done in decimal format 16

17 Enter Site Information Manually: Step 1-3 If the site address is known, use the Enter Address button. Locate the site based on address or by State, District and block locations of a specific Observation Well 17

18 Enter Site Information Manually: Step 2 Complete the form with water metrics and indicators for the site Click Submit Site to add the site to the map display 18

19 Upload a File Avoid manual data entry with the Upload File (csv, xls xlsx) option. This allows for multiple sites to be uploaded at one time. Click Download Template for a spreadsheet template of the form to simplify data entry 19

20 Upload a File: Template Once the download has finished, open the worksheet Click Options to Enable Editing to exit the protected view and enter site values At the sub-district level, administrative units have different names in different states such as Blocks, Mandal or Tehsils 20

22 Upload a File: Template When the template is completed, it can be loaded into the application Click the Choose File button to navigate to the completed template Files can also be dragged and dropped into the application Drop File Here box 22

23 Editing Locations Sites are added to the map as blue points Click on a site to update or change input values. Click the Remove Site button to remote site completely 23

24 Analyze Tool Click the Analyze button to view and download extensive water-related risk data based on site locations and input values 24

25 Analyze Tool View data for Groundwater, Surface Water, Water Stress and several reporting metrics If no data is available for a particular site, it will read No Data 25

26 Analyzing Results: Groundwater The Groundwater Tab shows values of the district or block of which the user site is a part for: Net Groundwater Availability (2011), Annual Replenishable Groundwater Resources, Projected Demand for Domestic and Industrial Uses (2025), Net Groundwater Availability for Future Irrigation Uses (2025), Stage of Groundwater Development (2011) exceedance of BIS standards for chloride, fluoride, iron, arsenic or nitrate and Groundwater Block Categorization (2011). The noted values of Groundwater depth (2014 pre-and post-monsoon) at observation well closest to the user site appears as output. 26

27 Analyzing Results: Surface Water The Surface Water Tab shows the values observed values of Surface Water Quality parameters at the observation well closest to the site. The parameters include: Fecal Coliform, Total Coliform, Dissolved Oxygen, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Conductivity, ph, Sodium Absorption Ratio and Chemical Oxygen Demand. 27

28 Analyzing Results: Water Stress The Water Stress Tab shows values of the District or Watershed of which the user site is a part for: Baseline Water Stress, Normalized Deficit Index and Normalized Deficit Cumulated 28

29 Analyzing Results: Reporting Metrics The Reporting Metrics Tab shows site value calculations for indicators contingent on the input form or template values. Indicators include Bloomberg, Dow Jones Sustainability Index, CDP, GRI and UN CEO Water Mandate 29
