VORTEX 47 offers 47 reasons that internet marketing is the best thing since sliced bread. The following pages within this guide will explain to you stepby-step how to set up your sites. Each site requires minimal setup (along with your Clickbank, Adsense and Amazon Associate ID s).

2 Unzipping the Zip File Your first step is to store your files in their proper folders so that they may be uploaded properly, when ready. Use an unzipping tool and unzip the file named VORTEX47.zip Once the VORTEX47.zip file has been completely unzipped, you should have 47 subfolders each with a folder name describing the Clickbank product that will be promoted. Verify that all of the folders with their respective files (open one of the main folders like ACNE) are intact similar to the image below.

3 Web Hosting Setup In order to properly use your new VORTEX 47 sites, you will first need to decide what type of web hosting to use. As the VORTEX 47 sites are built on the PHP platform, you ll need to have the proper hosting setup that allows these features to be utilized. A Linux Host is the preferable choice. It shouldn t take you very long to understand what is required for setup, and once you have completed setup once, the next time you perform it, it becomes much easier. We will not go into detail on setting up a Linux host. Most web hosts provide guidance in the setup of a domain name and web server (Linux Server in this case).

4 Select all of your VORTEX 47 files (from a specific folder only like ACNE or DOG-FOOD) and drag them over into the FTP folder.

5 Once the files have completed FTP, you ll need to make sure that you change the following folders to CHMOD 777 (Read, Write, Execute): Config, db, files, lang

6 You are set up and ready to complete your site with your Clickbank ID, Adsense ID and Amazon ID. SETUP COMPLETE Go to the next step

7 SITE CREATION During the setup process, we will use a demo site based on one of the VORTEX 47 sites. The site we use will be about ACNE in our demo. This site is purely a demonstration and is not intended to show you extreme keyword searches, etc. for your marketing efforts. The main goal is to show you how easy it is to complete the set up of a new VORTEX 47 website.

8 ADMIN LOGIN It s time to log in to your ADMIN Page for this site. Open your web browser (IE, Firefox, etc.) and type: Your page should look like the image below.

9 ADMIN LOGIN Log in using the default login (which you will change shortly) User: admin Password:

13 ADMIN - MAIN KEYWORDS The Keywords are a big part of your Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Entering Keywords or Keyphrases will allow the program to incorporate the Keywords or Phrases into the backbone of each page. Page Meta Tags, Title & URL incorporate the keywords. Keywords have already been entered to optimize the page for proper Adsense Ad displays. You may change these at any time. * Enter any keywords or phrases followed by a comma.

14 ADMIN - AMAZON KEYWORDS The Amazon Keywords are a big part of properly displaying the Amazon products that most closely match the niche of your site. 15 ADMIN CLICKBANK PRODUCT The Clickbank Product is what your site is really all about. The product you promote is your bread & butter. When creating a new hoplink, strip off the part that contains your Clickbank ID and the period (.) that immediately follows. It should look similar to (acnefree.hop.clickbank.net/). Any other method will make your hoplink obsolete and you will lose any sales of the product. The hoplink is active for the Page Header and both Product Images.

16 ADMIN STARTING PAGE The Starting Page is the page your website visitors will visit first. Think of it as the page you want to use to grab the attention of your visitors. * We ll come back to this page later to explain how you come up with your Starting Page number.

17 ADMIN LOGIN & PASSWORD The default Login for each site is ADMIN. The default Password for each site is We strongly recommend you change both for each site you upload. Don t forget what you change them to.

18 ADMIN PAGES Click on the PAGES tab on the left side of the Admin screen. Each default website has 5 related articles already inserted into your site. You may Edit or Delete any of the articles (these articles are from a free article directory and may not be modified due to usage restrictions). You may also Add New Pages with any amount of articles you wish to add. * We ll discuss the Add New Page portion later.

19 ADMIN PAGES Next to each Page Link Name is a box for POSITION. This is the position on the website menu you would like the page to appear. You may number these starting from 0. They may be in any order you wish, but the first one must be 0, then 1,2 and so on..

20 ADMIN EDIT ARTICLES 1-5 Five articles have already been selected for you. To change any article: Go to a free article directory like isnare.com or articlesbase.com. If writing your own article, ski pthese steps. Using isnare as our example, go to The isnare page should look similar to the one shown below:

21 ADMIN EDIT ARTICLES 1-5 Type in one of your keywords. For this example, we ll use the keyword: ACNE, then click SEARCH Your page should look similar the one shown below:

26 ADMIN EDIT ARTICLES 1-5 Go to your Admin Page and click on one of the ARTICLE links (there are 5 total), or click on the EDIT icon on the right side of the page in line with the article link. Your page should look similar to the one shown below:

27 ADMIN MODIFY ARTICLE 1-5 RIGHT CLICK in the ARTICLE INFORMATION area, Click SELECT ALL, RIGHT CLICK AGAIN and then click PASTE. Change the Link Name (this becomes one of the links on the sites menu). Click the SAVE button. Repeat for all five article pages. *** You may also write your own article if you prefer. Your page should look similar to the one shown below:

28 ADMIN STARTING PAGE To add your STARTING PAGE number look at the numbers to the left of each page link, find the one that you prefer and then on the Settings page (top right corner), add it to the STARTING PAGE box and click SAVE. Your visitors will now start on that page when they come to your direct site similar to: (ie;

29 ADMIN NEW PAGE To add a NEW PAGE, place your mouse over the PAGE tab until you see NEW PAGE (see image below). Click NEW PAGE and then follow the examples for adding page content (articles) beginning on page 20.

30 KEYWORD RESEARCH TOOLS Keyword Research is an entirely different animal than building your website. Keywords can make or break the profitability of a site. Some of the ideas for Keyword Research may be derived by using tools offered for FREE which you will find available on the web. Google offers the Adwords Keyword Tool. For example use the Adwords Keyword tool and type in ACNE and click GET KEYWORD IDEAS Using the list provided, you may be able to break down the keywords further finding keywords that do not have much competition, yet plenty of searches. These keywords are the ones you want to target. Use these to update your entire site to reflect the valuable keywords.

31 SITE INDEXER Social Networking is a method to get your information out to the masses quickly. Digg.com is one of the best sites, in our opinion, of getting your message out. Go to and sign up. When you are ready SUBMIT YOUR SITE. The critical aspect here is to grab the attention of the reader. People like the weird stuff be weird. Social Networking is available in many places. Don t be spammy, but don t be shy. Be proud of your sites and promote them!

32 HOW TO BUILD AN ENTIRELY NEW SITE It s easy! Go to Clickbank and find the product you want to promote. Make a copy of one of the VORTEX 47 folders and name it whatever you want (we recommend something that will remind you of what the site is about). Follow all of the directions in this guide to get your site uploaded (don t forget the CHMOD 777 folders). Login to your Admin page and update all of the information on both the Settings Page & the Articles Pages. You will need a banner and product image. Most Clickbank sellers offer Affiliate pages that will give you banners and product images to use. Find them. You will need to save the images as directed on the next page

33 BUILD AN ENTIRELY NEW SITE Banner: Must be 728 pixels x 90 pixels in size. You may need to use a graphics program to resize the images as some banner images are smaller or larger (always check to see if they have 728 x 90 banners and use them if you can) Product: 160 Wide. Height does not matter. You will want to resize the product image to a width of 160 pixels if you can. The site will resize for you, but the image size in megabytes will remain whatever size it is unless you shrink it down to 160 pixels and compress it. *** Load both images into the TEMPLATES/IMG folder within your site.
