Install the grid hooks with provided #8X1/4 sheet metal screws. Tie the starter back box back to structure, tie wire by others. Secure the back box to the wall, hardware by others. 7 Align the tabs with the extrusion slots. 8 9 STARTER BACK BOX MID OR END BACK BOX ALIGNMENT TAB Secure the start and mid back boxes with the joiner bracket. Install the mid back box grid hooks and tie back. Secure the mid or end back box to the wall, hardware by others.

Hang the starter back box with two aircraft cables. Zip the cable coupler up until the back box fl ange is fl ush with the ceiling. HOOKS SECURE BACK BOX TO THE STUD Install the hooks with provided screws. 4

Align the tabs with the extrusion slots and slide back boxes together. ALIGNMENT TAB Secure the starter and mid back boxes with the joiner bracket. Install the mid back box hooks. EXTRA MUD INSTALLATION - MUD INSTALLATION ALSO FOLLOWS PREVIOUS STEPS 1 14 Secure the extrusion to the stud, hardware by others. Apply joint compound and feather edges. 5

If access to wire way is needed, loosen the captive screw from the luminaire. To remove the light engine completely, separate the electrical disconnect. Store the light engine near the corresponding luminaire of the respective row. (Make sure not to mix up the sequence of the light engines in a row). 2

CONSULT SUBMITTAL BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION /8 KNOCK-OUTS LOCATE THE ON THIS SIDE MOUNTING CHANNELS POWER FEED KNOCK-OUTS LUMINAIRE MOUNTING POINTS 8 LESS THAN LUMINAIRE LENGTH TWO MOUNTING CHANNELS MID OR END LUMINAIRE CONSECUTIVE SECTION TWO MOUNTING CHANNELS ROW INSTALLATION - INDIVIDUAL INSTALLATION FOLLOW STEPS 1 THROUGH 4. CONDUIT 1 2 1/2 CAPTIVE NUT 1 to 4 Consult submittal for starter location. Remove the 7/8 K.O. and install the bushing for power wire. (The starter and end luminaire will generally have a space between the end cap and the end of the ceiling slot). For trimless install the starter luminaire with two screws, hardware by others. Confi rm the screws are secure in the structure, not only in the drywall. For Back Box installs, remove the 7/8 K.O. and install power feed conduit. Install the starter luminaire with two 10-2 X 5/8 phillips pan head screws INTERMEDIATE POWER SUPPLY COUPLER(S) MID / END LUMINAIRE Install the light engine alignment tab. STARTER LUMINAIRE Reinstall the starter light engine. Tighten the captive screw. Avoid pinching wires. Align the mid/end luminaire with the starter luminaire and make sure the power supply connectors snap together. Secure the mid/end luminaire with appropriate hardware. 4 Distribution may be adjusted up to 10. Simultaneously unscrew each captive screw. Realign the light engines if adjustment is required. 10 ADJUSTMENT
