1 SAFE ROADS TO PROSPERITY Namibia s Roads Authority was established in terms of Section 2 of the Roads Authority Act, Act no. 17 of 1999 and became operational on the 01 April The Roads Authority is responsible for the management of national road network with a view of achieving a safe and efficient road sector. The Authority invites qualified, dynamic candidates to apply for the following positions: DIVISION: MAINTENANCE 1. ENGINEERING MANAGER: ROAD MAINTENANCE, Patterson Job Grade D4, Oshakati To manage the resources and tactical implementation of planning, design, tendering, contract management and master plan compliance within a region Management of an engineering area within the region Management of human resources and technical team of area within the region Control the region budget Management of project planning and designs derived from the maintenance strategy and preparation of tender documents Controlling of contract management process i.e. Contracts administration and site supervision Implementation of procedures and quality control standards Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering Registration as Professional Engineer or incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia Eight (8) years experience post registration in road maintenance and construction of which three (3) years should be at management level Code B driving license Skills and competencies: Knowledge of the RTTA and RTTR Knowledge of IIA Standard and King III Principles Report writing skills Computer literate Sound interpersonal skills Job content enquiries on the above position can be directed to Mr. K Chigumira at Tel: ENGINEER: ROAD MAINTENANCE, Patterson Job Grade: D3, Windhoek To conduct project & network planning, design and tender documentation, execution of tender processes, provision of support to the quality control process for road maintenance. CORPORATE COMMUNICATION OFFICER, Patterson Job Grade: C3, Windhoek To provide implementation support to the corporate communications function. Prepare materials, brochures and programs in support of relationship building events Monitor the external environment Support the communication function Implement & coordinate social responsibility programs Implement marketing campaigns

ICT Technician: Systems Administration, Patterson Job Grade: C3, WINDHOEK Responsible for the provision of tier 2 ICT support to end users Administration of related Windows Systems End-User training on New Technologies Assist with Administration & Monitoring of Data Centers and Servers availability Provide end-user ICT support Participate in ICT specific projects Monitor Data Protection and Replication Manage ICT hardware inventory and allocations Degree in Information Technology: System administration and Networking Microsoft Certification, N+ and A+ Three (3) years experience in ICT support Code B Driving License Knowledge of Microsoft products, Basic understanding of the business process Understanding of ITIL principles & related ICT governance framework 6. ICT Technician: Service Support, Patterson Job Grade: C1, WINDHOEK Responsible for the provision of tier 1 ICT support to end users from service desk (Helpdesk) Provide tier 1 ICT support from Helpdesk End-User ICT Hardware Control Active Directory & Directory Services Administrations Daily Monitoring of WAN and Data Center Notifications Provide End-User Training
