2 Action Required: Important CATC Agreement Change At Certiport, we are consistently improving our products and policies to address data security and compliance with current Federal and State data protection laws. Due to recent changes in data security and protection laws, all CATC s are required to review and accept an updated Certiport Authorized Test Center Agreement by January 31, 2018 in order to continue delivering Certiport products and services. If your organization has not signed a CATC agreement in the last year, Please login to Portal and click the red button labeled "Review and Accept Agreement" to complete this important update. If you do not see the red button labeled "Review and Accept Agreement" your agreement does not need to be renewed at this time. 3 Kicking Off the 2018 MOS US National Championship Spring Qualifier Happy 2018! Let s kick the year off with a bang, with the 2018 MOS US National Championship Spring Qualifier! Now s the time to certify and prepare to compete. Students across the country are already using MOS certification to qualify for the MOS US National Championship. In order to be named a 2018 MOS US National Spring Qualifier Champion, students must earn the highest score in their state on one of the following exams: Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2013 Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2013 Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2013 Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2016 We re pumped to see students submit their scores from all across the country! 6 MTA Exam Updates MTA Exams of Networking Fundamentals, Windows Server Fundamentals, and Mobility and Design Fundamentals have an update coming at the end of January! These three MTA exams have been refreshed, starting at the Objective Domain level, with updated questions and rework to make the existing questions better. All three exams reference the latest technologies and applications, with Server 2016 being the basis for Windows Server, and Windows 10 being the basis for Mobility and Device. New Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) Exam! On January 4, 2018, Certiport released a new English version of the MCE exam, completely replacing the old exam. The new MCE exam focuses on 21 st Century Learning Design for teachers. The MCE web page on Certiport offers more details about the exam, including this link to free learning material from Microsoft. Localizations of the MCE exam start arriving in Q2 of There will soon be a Practice Test for English available through our partner GMetrix for the MCE exam. While these exams are referencing the latest technologies and applications, since the MTA program is at a fundamental level, the questions and fundamental concepts have not changed materially. Existing MCE certificate holders will have one year to take the new exam, after which time the Certification on their transcript page will change from current to not current.

7 The Objective Domains will be available shortly on the Objective Domain page at Certiport. Badging for the MCE program is now available for all candidates who have taken the new version of the MCE Exam. -Mark Harris, Product Manager -Mark Harris, Product Manager Autodesk Certified User: Major Maintenance Following market feedback on the current Autodesk Certified User (ACU) exams, Certiport has been performing analysis and work on the ACU exams. We are excited to announce that this work is being completed and the exam updates will be released January and February of The exams that are receiving these updates are: AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit Architecture, and Fusion 360. Key updates to the exam include: Time limit changed from 75 to 50 minutes More selected response questions Exam content adjusted to better fit exam audience Compatible with 2016, 2017, and 2018 Autodesk software -Sean Moody, Product Manager

8 Purchase ACE Discount Vouchers and Program Updates Adobe will be moving Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) testing and certification services from Pearson VUE and Certiport to a new provider effective February 13, Certiport, Pearson VUE, and Adobe are working to make this transition as seamless to you as possible. There is no action required of you at this time and you may continue to use your ACE exam vouchers through February 13, Due to this change, Certiport Authorized Testing Centers can purchase ACE exam vouchers at a 50% discount from Certiport. The vouchers must be purchased before January 31, Vouchers will be valid one year after purchase. To access this special pricing contact your Certiport Representative and reference PID Certiport will continue to be the sole provider of the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exam and look forward to continuing the success of this program. Additionally, we have added frequently asked questions on topics such as scoring, interpreting score reports, and learning materials, as well as several program-specific questions that cover common nuances that test candidates encounter when taking an exam.
