IGLSD th Street Milford, IA ADDENDUM NO. 2 August 15, 2017 TO ALL PLANHOLDERS: The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made a part of the Contract Documents for the above referenced project, as fully and completely as if the same were fully set forth therein. All Bidders submitting a Bid on the above Contract shall carefully read this Addendum and give it consideration in the preparation of their Bid. SPECIFICATION 1. Section INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS SCHEDULES Under paragraph 2.01.A.1, delete Section INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS SCHEDULES Add paragraph 2.01.C as follows: C. Radar Level Sensor/Transmitter (used for wet well level measurement by direct measurement): 1. Lift stations Section REMOTE INSTRUMENTS. Add the following paragraph 2.03 as follows: 2.03 RADAR LEVEL TRANSMITTER A. General: 1. Furnish and install a radar level detector in Lift Station 1-26 instead of the originally specified pressure sensor attached to bubbler system piping in wet well. 2. Furnish and program 2 nd radar detector to be put in Owners storage. B. Level Sensor/Transmitter 1. Radar detector shall be Class 1 Division 1 rated, with blue tooth commissioning/setup or approved equal from: Provide and install dedicated power supply as required to power instrument with surge protection on the 4-20mA output line and an intrinsically safe barrier as required. C. Manufacturers AD2-1

The following additional reference information is being made available upon request: a. Current lift station Radio Telemetry Schematic from Hydro Optimization and Automation Solutions, Inc. d. IGLSD Radio Path Study from Alpha Wireless/TCIC These documents are available electronically and instructions on how to download them can be obtained by contacting HR Green, Inc. at and asking for either Jessica Luck or Kelly Muhlena or by sending an to or HR Green, Inc. and Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the above reference information. Changes may have been made to these documents or to the installed systems that are not shown or included in the reference information and unknown to HR Green, Inc. and Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District. This reference information is not covered by the professional engineering certification and/or seal on this Addendum, previous addenda, or any other Contract Documents. 5. Setction INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL INTEGRATION. Add the following section to the specifications: 20. Before the contractor begins any physical work at any lift station the Contractor shall meet with the Owners personnel at the lift station to be worked on to go over the way the Owner would like the conduit/wire, power supplies/level detectors, etc. added at the lift station. This meeting shall take place for the three (3) main types of lift stations such as In Ground Pump Can Pump Stations, Above Grade Shack Pump Stations, and Pump Stations with Permanent Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches, along with the main SCADA control panel at the Maintenance Building at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and pump lift stations LS1-10 and LS1-30 that get new SCADA control panels. One the Contractor has completed his work at each of these places, he shall again meet with the Owner to go over any items they would like changed for all similar lift stations, including the lift station being reviewed. Once the Owner agrees with the way things are being done the contractor may then move on to similar lift stations with similar work. 6. Section PROCESS CONTROL COMPUTERS. Revise paragraph 4.E,2.c.2) as follows: 2) Size: 27 inch, widescreen (16:0). AD2-2

3 7. Section PROCESS CONTROL SOFTWARE. Revise paragraph 1.D.9 as follows: 9. Wonderware Intouch for System Platform 2014R2: graphical user interface used by plant personnel to view the process. Use the Terminal Server Edition with 4 fixed client licenses and 5 concurrent client licenses. 8. Section PROCESS CONTROL SOFTWARE. Delete paragraph 2.D.3 and paragraph 2.D.5. (DEV1 will still be needed as the Galaxy and can have the development software loaded for an integrator to use but no development license will be provided by IGLSD) 9.
